![]() ![]() Found a restock of the Infinity Saga Black Widow and the new Studio Series Bumblebee movie Shockwave at Walmart. This Shockwave design is such a cool blend of his G1 and Prime designs and is an overall solid toy too. My only complaint is that he doesn't have any bicep swivel even though it sorta seems like they could've managed it. In the movie he didn't transform but for the toy they clearly just looked to his Prime design and pretty much straight copied that H-tank with minor accommodations based on knowing what his robot mode looked like. The transformation itself isn't complicated, like nearly every H-tank, but there are some nifty steps of unfolding his chest that keep it interesting. He's also a good sized figure compared to other recent voyager figures I've gotten or glanced at on the shelves. My Shockwave army gladly accepts another member.

My Target did a restock of almost every new TMNT figure except Bebop and Rocksteady. Had to control myself though.

![]() Got the Adventures of Spawn Commando Spawn redo from the McF 30th anniversary assortment. I was pretty much totally out of collecting Spawn when they did this Saturday-morning cartoon spin on the concept back in '06 and '07 so I have none of the original figures, but in hindsight it's probably one of my favorite alternate takes on the characters so I'm glad to see at least one of them brought back now. Looking at reviews of the original release though and it appears the differences with this version are some minor paint changes, the left hand is now partly open instead of being closed, the knife on his leg is not a removable piece, the backpack is a new smaller piece and the gun's grip no longer has to detach for him to grip it nor does the gun plug into his forearm, and they swapped useless boot-cut swivels in the legs for somewhat useful glove-cut swivels on the arms. It's not a straight re-release of the original but it's still pretty close, meaning anyone with the original has zero reason to get this unless their first one broke or something. It's kinda strange to write it, but I like that they kept it at staction figure levels because that's how the original was done and I also think it works in service of this specific cartoon style to minimize articulation. Now I'd like to see them bring back some of the other Adventures of Spawn figures like this. Tiffany with white-eyes not being a variant, Cy-Gor but bigger, and maybe The Clown in this style because he seriously wasn't in either of the initial waves.

Found Batgirl on the shelves of Target. She's a really nice figure. Love the dramatics of the wired cape.
Stumbled upon the Nightwing/Red Hood set at an out-of-the-way game/collectible store. Was completely stunned by the $39.99 price tag. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It was from Limited Run and you had to preorder it back in October. There's a physical disc. I've got it in the steelbook in that picture because the PS4 plastic case was broken to hell.
Here my full unboxing video if you are interested:

Yeah, that's three collections they done. I really hope there is eventually one for the DS games and one for LoI and CoD.

Yay, I am done hunting TMNT stuff for the moment:
![]() Now if I come across some cool older things, that would be great.

![]() Given this set's retirement at the end of last year I was pleasantly surprised that Amazon had them on sale during their May the 4th deals so I nabbed one for $35. I did some out-of-the-box modding to make R2 sit lower (he's comically high if the instructions are followed) and improve the look of the cannons. It was a fun build and I really like that there isn't a rubber band for me to be paranoid about.
