Marvel Legends MCU She-Hulk

McFarlane Bloodshot

The funny thing about this figure is the only thing that makes it a movie figure is the Vin Diesel head sculpt, otherwise, this is a comic book Bloodshot.

To me the weirdest part is I think the less movie-accurate figure of Ben Affleck's Batman from The Flash is better because the Black color scheme looks better with that suit. I think the reason Batfleck's suit gets ragged on in that movie is because of how clunky the armor looks with the blue cape & cowl. It's like the Bloodhsot figure Todd di where the best thing about it is that it's not accurate to the movie. That being said, I do understand wanting a movie-accurate figure, particularly if you like that movie.

That sucks about your Grandmother, I hope things get better.

Thanks.

I know everyone hated on the Batfleck suit from the Flash movie but I really like it since it gives off some big Arkham Origins vibes and that suit kicks all the ass. I won't lie though I'd prefer it if the blue parts were black but I really like the grey suit over the standard all black version. The details on the suit stand out more.

I'm just now getting around to posting my two most recent acquisitions. I found Adam West Batman at Walmart and finally ordered MK11 Commando Spawn on Amazon. The cape on Batman is definitely too big and comic-book-like but overall I still find it to be a delightful figure with some really fun hand options. I never jumped on this Commando Spawn when he was new because WB's no guns policy meant his only accessories were the necroplasm pieces and while they are pretty cool a Commando Spawn who isn't packing heat just feels wrong, also I had the first MK11 Spawn holding me over. Since then I got myself a 3D printer so I finally backtracked for this figure now that I could arm him. As seen in the picture I've currently got Al sporting a Militech Saratoga from Cyberpunk 2077 that I found someone had put up on thingiverse.

What was wrong with McFarlane's weapon packs? Sure they're not as nice as Militech Saratoga, but that was the fix for the no guns policy.

Nothing was wrong with them in terms of quality but the price of shipping through McFarlane's store was too much for me to bother. I should note that I didn't just get a 3D printer to make little weapons for my toys, that would make my previous statement quite nonsensical.

Since it was down to around $20 on Pulse I finally got the golden archive Xanathar the Beholder. I didn't know it would be quite as big as it is, the only review I ever looked at referred to it as "softball sized" but a softball is shy of 4" in diameter and Xanathar's main body/head is somewhere around 5-6" in diameter (it's not a true sphere shape so it varies based on where I measure). Obviously the total articulation is minimal and the eye-stalks only being articulated where they plug in doesn't yield a lot of moving parts, but I am really impressed with the way the eye moves and how its control rod is pretty well hidden in the mouth for display value. Of course this is the 5e Xanathar so he has his pet fish which is a nicely made piece as well. Some kind of flight-stand base option would've been cool but the pile of treasure (with a skull in it) does a good job of letting Xanathar rest on it.

Picked up tiamut at walmart and my son really wanted a movie deadpool... wound up resorting to a KO off ebay. Blows my mind the movie has been out over a month and no dp and wolverine toys. Hasbro is losing out on some serious coin

Darkseid is.

My pre-order from BBTS arrived yesterday. There's no ignoring that this is a flawed figure but I still really dig it. I'll get my gripes out of the way first, he has articulation issues. I'm not talking about the single-jointed elbows or any other "missing" joints because we've been able to see that stuff since he went up for pre-order, I'm referring to the part where his hip joints barely have any range of motion and the left ankle on mine is loose so when he's not on the base he falls over very easily. He's basically locked to standing upright, I'll grant that is probably what I'd have him doing anyway but it is still a bummer when you're handling a figure and you find out a good chunk of him is useless articulation because the hips are functionally static. On to what I like, I just think he looks great. It's not truly classic Darkseid but it's pretty damn close, being based on his Super Powers design and not the proper original just means trading the miniskirt for a cape and the belt being white. I would have preferred the cape be removable but it doesn't offend me either. He's quite larger than the typical DC Multiverse figure but on the smaller end of megafigs, Bane is actually a little bit taller than him and he's notably smaller than Mongul (whose arms he reuses) or Swamp Thing. I appreciate this size because classically Darkseid was not particularly big but the toy still feels large enough to support the higher price of being a megafig. The new sculpting and color choices are what make this figure really work for me, I especially like the heads. Both portraits came out very well but I definitely have to give the edge to the one with the energy effect, I think they did a great job making him look like he's charging up an omega beam. So yeah this Darkseid just stands there looking menacing but that's all I really wanted from him so I'm willing to move past some of his flaws and enjoy McFarlane's first classic Darkseid.

No, I mentioned that in my wall of text. I wish it had been removable but this is his Super Powers design in which he had a cape so we can't say there's no basis for Darkseid having a cape.

That's what I get for skimming your text. I kept looking for the word cape but apparently kept missing it.

It COULD be removed if you do any customization. The only place it's connected is at the "D" emblem. It isn't glued around the neck area. However you would have a weird emblem in the middle of his chest.

If you ain't a fan of this version you know damn good and well Todd will release a version sans cape that will most likely use his long tunic look.

My biggest gripe with the figure is the Mongul arms reuse. The veiny arms suck.
