I bought one of the Thor lightning hammers today at Wal-Mart. I'm thinking it'll go well as a background item for the Avengers figure display I'm putting together.

its actually a nice hammer , heavy and lights up and sounds.. my son has one and iam surprise he can carry it the way he does, take it hes only barely 2.

it would make a very nice display piece

Yeah I thought it would make for a better background display than the Cap shield. I like the sound effects and lights too. I would have liked to have the wrist strap included too but maybe I can make one of my own.

I heard Hasbro did away with the shooting missile for the Avengers version of the hammer. If so, too bad as I think that's a neat feature of this item.

Not really a toy haul but had to share... went by half price books with my son. They had a 20% off sale and they had a few boxes of comics for 25¢ .. so i was like oh wowww 25¢ so i bought a bunch of corse alot of them were gone but i grabed what i liked and what not. I got A bunch of marvel old and new and afew dc. Got about 50 comics for under 10 bucks. With the 20% came out to 20¢ a comic. And my son saw the thor thing to put on the wall and that was only 4 bucks.. all in all had a great comic book day lol...

lol i would be so mean if i had a son , i would thought of adding in some weights so he couldlnt lift it , wait until he said he couldnt lift it and i would reply who ever lifts this hammer if he'd be worthy shall posses the true power of thor

Got this guy a few days ago. The box looks like he's been in a war but I was planning on opening him so it didn't matter.

Right, mine looked like it got sat on. And I seen the silver one's, one had a cut along the back, like a boxcutter when a stocker slashed opened the case.

And yes, I opened mine!!

I've picked up 5 so far, the first two looked perfect. Case fresh even. The rest since have been okay, nothing critical but certainly flap crease and bumped corners. I opened all but one anyway!

I don't have classic colored Sentinels, only x2 silver - which I'm happy with. For some reason I feel x2 is enough. I always see them as twin tower types. It felt odd when I had x3, but more power to all of ya racking up these bad boys.

I want 6 total. I have 4 classic and 1 silver. I want to grab 1 more silver to have 2 equal squads. If I had the cash though, I could probably round up a total of a dozen or so, my area is pretty we stocked.
