Eh, it happens. Upshot is I was able to find some things once I was mobile again. Got the newest Hot Wheels Batmobile (this time based on the 1989 film, sans armor), as well as the Blue variant of the new Max Steel bike to go with the white one I already own.

After some debate, I also picked up the HW premium K.A.R.R. I had already bought K.I.T.T. in the same line, so I was debating about getting Garth's partner/ride, too. Then I found myself asking "When are they ever going to do another toy based on K.A.R.R. again?"

Sadly, no new TFs, TMNT or MU figures around.

I bought a lot of Figuarts over the weekend at AX and have many pictures of them. Due to how many I have, I'm just going to post one or two pictures of each one and you can click on them to go to the photobucket page if you are interested in the other pics.

Also, I've gotta say I do not feel the DBZ and Lelouch Figuarts live up to the quality of the KR and Sentai ones. I have loose parts, parts that come off just by looking at them wrong, and Lelouch's legs are too thin for him to stand up (plus he lacks articulation there).

OMG Provost and redx24 you got the Bruce Willis (Joe Colton) figure I envy you soooo much.
Here in France GI Joe is discontinued and except for the first movie leftovers, nothing much...

I worked all my way through Japan Expo-Comicon Paris this last weekend, but no much intersting stuff... Square-Enix booth had the Wonderwoman prototype though, looks very nice. Comicon part was all about DR.Who, no action figures for me


But I've been able to fetch myself some very nice Playarts Kai for me and my friends. The details on the Halo troopers are sick, and the Shiva bike is incredible.

I like Ratbat. I don't buy an obscene amount of imported toys or anything, but this was an exception because the paint looks really nice. It's not for me to decide if he's worth it to someone else, but me, I feel very good about the purchase. Really great toy.
