Here are my latest additions to close out 2013:

I found this TRU exclusive NECA Gears Of War 3 Theron Sentinel figure this past weekend at the out-of-town Toys R Us. I had a $5 reward coupon and according to the price scanner, he was on sale so my final cost was just over $3. It’s an interesting looking figure, although I know nothing of the game franchise he comes from.

And the Star Wars Vintage Collection Villain Set I ordered before Christmas arrived today. This was clearance priced on Target’s website but unfortunately got lost in the UPS delivery shuffle:

Can you snag more? I'd be down for any army builder figures, and black cat.

Amazing find!

If you ever come across any more of those Black Cats, could you please let me know? I'd be willing to buy one. A Marvel Now! 6" Captain America, too, if it wouldn't be too much trouble.

Got the new Spider-man legends today at TRU. Oddly, mine rang up at 19.99. :P Some quick thoughts on each one:

Black Cat: ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. I love the new Moonstone body, and it works perfectly for BC. I wouldn't change a thing.
Electro: he's kind of just there. A well made figure, sure, but the design is pretty boring.
Carnage: another awesome figure, and the back tendrils are indeed removable (but not the arm/leg ones)
Superior Spidey: pretty good, but I'm just not too crazy about the design. Love the Ock in Pete's body thing though.
Beetle: another ho-hum figure. would've much preferred the Boomerang guy.
Amazing Spidey: he is fantastic! besides the chest symbol, he'd make an excellent 616 Spidey. Sadly, the swappable head from the ASM Walmart figure won't fit, but you can't win 'em all, I guess.
Ultimate Green Goblin: I really thought I'd dislike him, but he's actually really cool! the only problem I have is that the clip-on flames don't stay on at all. It's really annoying.

I'm glad to hear that the line turned out so well....and that all the parts are there. BC looks amazing, and the BAF looks fantastic.I pre-ordered mine a while back, so this helps quell some of those fears i had been having.

Question though, on the back of the Carnage box, is there a pic of the Toxin swap figure like there was on the Red Skull/AIM soldier box for the Cap line? I'm really curious to see how the newer Toxin figure looks, since the other pics out there are so tiny and blurry to see...

Yep, indeed there is!

Personally, I don't care for the figure, but, y'know, to each their own. And it looks like he's on the Hyperion body too.

It's been a while since I've posted anything myself, so it definetely feels good to be back. It's so awesome to see some you guys getting so lucky with the recent finds...send some luck my way will ya!

First off...thank you to the Toy Arkers who helped me find this finally on Amazon last week, and at a dirt cheap price of 10 bucks! Much to my surprise, I discovered there was a Boba Fett version of this as well, which I found a day or two after getting this one.

I really liked the small size of this ship though a lot more than I thought I would, it looks right in place with the smaller Jedi Starfighter attack ships...and could possibly be a fast attack ship on it's own accord.

Was finally lucky enough to come across some of these. While not the highest of quality figures, I thought they were pretty neat considering the cheap price point.

I mistakenly forgot to take packaged shots of these guys, but I found the Rambo on clearance at a local TRU (Marked down to 5.98!) and the Waspinator at Target. He's easily the best figure in the new wave in my opinion. I love the light piping of his eyes!

I missed out on WW2 Cap with the First Avenger wave, so was stoked to find him, even if he was the only one on the shelf. I was initially disappointed with the 3.75" Cap, but after finding one with decent paint apps on his face, I decided to pick him up. I was disappointed in the lack of accessories with Winter Soldier, but I have some Gun-Runner sniper rifles that'll work pretty well with him. Now if only I could find that Marvel Legends Red Skull! Can anyone help?

These weren't for my collection per-say, but I picked these up for some co-workers who were fans of these respective teams as belated Christmas presents. Me personally...I'm a Bengals fan all the way! Who Dey!

And finally, some loose figure pick-ups I had been eyeballing from eBay...Captain Rogers and Beast (Cat Mutation)!

Wow....awesome job...thanks!

He definitely needs a lot more black on him, but I suppose they did that to keep people from getting him confused with Carnage. The head sculpt is decent enough, although if I'm lucky enough to come across this guy (if he ever gets released that is...) I can guarantee you that I'm drowning him in a ton of black acrylic paint. He's not better than the original Toxin (which I thankfully have...his prices on ebay are ridiculous...) but, I won't complain, I'm just glad they're making him at all. Now actually releasing him is another matter...lol.

did you see the 3 3/4 red skull? he's the only one i'm planning on getting from this line so i'm hoping he won't be hard to find.

I found the Cap figures at TRU. For the 3.75" stuff though, I did not see any Red Skulls on the peg...only the two different Caps, and Winter Soldier....with about 2 or 3 of each on the peg. My guess at the moment, is that Skull might be the short pack (considering he was just recently released for the Avengers Assemble line as well) or some Red Skull fan snagged him up because he had to have another Red Skull figure with hampered leg articulation...lol.

Buyer beware on the Capt. Rogers version of the movie Cap figs. The paint apps on the face are terrible, and can really ruin the look of the figure in a bad, bad way. If you can, try to find him in the stores over ordering him online or resorting to Ebay. This was the first figure that I've really wanted that I've nearly passed on in a while because of derpy paint apps, and I had to really look through all of them to find one that didn't make Cap look like he had a bad case of Bell's Palsy.

Kinda hard to see thanks to the camera phone, but it looked way worse in person. Looks like Cap's eye is running off into battle without him!

No Marvel Legends love for me this week. All I found was leftover Captains, and Spider-man at multiple TRU and Target.

Dang the Target near me had them, but only the Spider-Man's left, so I just picked up Superior. Hopefully the rest aren't hard to find. It's funny that the Spider-Man gets tags but Cap doesn't at Target from what I've seen, even though Cap came out first.

Questions for those who have the new Captain America Winter Soldier toys:

1) for the 3 3/4" figures, does the waist twist? Doesn't look like they do.

2) for the 6" Legends figures, has anyone got the Black Widow? Is she out on the first wave?

Thanks.
