damn that sucks. I've personally never had this problem with any of my injustice figs. i'm just lucky I guess.

I bought 2 more of those Family Dollar Batman figures for just $2.50 each. I am pretty sure I already have these two, but I have packed them away not thinking the line would continue. These guys are 4-inches tall just like the $6.99, but they are 5 POA not 9 POA
Black Mask Batman

Yellow Vizor Batman

The same happen to mine has I said in another topic. It can be fixed although I agree it shouldn't happen. I was lucky the seller from which I got the set on ebay sent me a second one for free.

To fix that one you need some GI Joe female arms, hot water, xacto, probably a dremler and some patience.

The problem with those things is that the plastic is not strong and they managed to place things in place without letting the paint dry.

Scored these today in Cerritos and Montclair Targets here in Southern California. I wasn't even going to head to the Target in Cerritos after I finished the work I had to do there, but I just had this feeling and went anyways. Got two sets of each. Lucky me! I was pretty persistent. I asked one of the reps there pretty please with sugar on top to look in the back for the green hydra dude (since he wasn't on the peg in the Montclair target) and he found it. Just plain awesome. So my haul today two Aim and two hydra dudes. Checked a few more Targets as well in Chino and Chino Hills but those either had only Caps, Zemos or Skulls. One did have (the Chino one) a Spiderman, but the rest were empty pegs. Ironically the lone Spiderman I did find was priced 19.99 while the others were still 14.99...hmm guess they figured it out!

Gonna be a double post for me, as I recently had my pile of loot sent to me last week from BBTS, and had some Ebay pickups this week. I won't go into any details as the pics speak for themselves, however, I would like to shamelessly plug the Cretaceous Advancement Kit...this thing is a must own if any of you have the TF Generations WFC: Grimlock. The sword and shield look fantastic, and the new headsculpt (which has no light piping sadly...) is nice . Better yet, the included stomach piece covers up the huge gap in his T Rex mode's hips nicely, and stores nicely on Grimlock's back when in robot mode.

That out of the way....here's this week's pick ups, the FF figs I picked up in an Ebay action as a set (Just need to find me an Invisible Woman now to round out the group...)

Definitely my cutest purchase of the week...

And....The Walking Dead Glenn!!! Whoo hoo!

So far, this has been one of my favorite figures they've released sculpt wise for the series. He's really nicely done. Hopefuly Maggie is just as good.

Glenn was found at a nearby Walgreens for me by my GF. Sadly, I have not been able to find any other figures from series 5 BUT Glenn after hitting a couple of stores, but I'm imagining that these are trickling out slower than normal due to Series 4 still warming the pegs at most Walgreens. There were a bunch of the Governor and Carl when I found him, with only one Glenn on the peg tagging along. Hopefully they'll be getting endcap displays like series four did in the near future.

This has actually happened to me a few times as of recent...one being the new 3 3/4" Robocop figures (his left leg snapped right off when I tried to remove him from the packaging) and it nearly happened to my Pacific Rim Striker Eureka as well...whose waist articulation won't turn or pivot what-so-ever. I don't even dare mess with it either, as he goes for such a ridiculous price locally and online. It's alright I guess...at least there's one joint on him that isn't loose!

I hope you're able to get it worked out without having to drop a ton of greenbacks...

What's odd is that my local Walgreens (three of 'em) have also only had Glenn. I've left him there every time because I have the whole series on pre-order through Amazon, but it's odd that he alone is so common.

Sorry to hear 'bout your Pacific Rim figure. I'm halfway finished repairing Wonder Woman using a drill, some pliers, super glue and a twistie tie. If it's successful then I'll hopefully be able to explain it to anyone else who has broken Injustice figs.

Still sucks that so much effort has to go into fixing a problem that shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Ooh! I almost forgot to point out my favorite purchase from last week - a miniature tea set with a serving tray:

My Alfred always looked odd without some kind of accessory. Got this from Pat Catan's craft store. They have a whole aisle of miniature dollhouse props that are perfect for action figures. For example, they have a fishing pole that'll probably look great if given to a Figma Link.

Gamestop used to sell all kinds of goodies in store back in the day. Now they mostly sell McFarlane stuff when it comes to toys, (Halo/Assasin's Creed/Walking Dead) but I remember picking up over half of my Street Fighter (Sota Toys) from Gamestop when they were coming out. There's a lot of good deals on Gamestop's website, in particular to Marvel Selects and Neca stuffs, and if I'm correct, they do ship free to their stores, so it might be worth checking out.

Went out to do some hunting while the Super Bore was on today, and was super stoked to find these at a local record and tape trader (Bookman's) for an awesome price! They also had an entire set of the Wolverine series Legends....which I was tempted, but opted for FF Spidey only. The Evo Kid...I've been hunting him down at LTJ concerts for years to no avail, so it really caught me off guard when I spotted him!

To answer your question about the Green Lantern, I like him a lot. He's well painted, well articulated, and is nicely sculpted. My only gripes about him, is that I felt they could have done a better job sculpting and painting the power ring on his finger (it's really tiny, and doesn't stand out all that well.) and I kinda wish there was more green and black on him overall. Instead of black, they decided to go with a silver washed gunmetal grey on the parts that should be black, giving him an almost mechanical/cyborg style feel to him, but he's very anime influenced, so it's understandable. He's still a fine figure though, and will look good with any Green Lantern collection...

Man....nice find with the FF Spiderman. Been hoping I find him one day at my local Wal-mart, but they are so sporadic with their restocks.

Falconhood, you just sold me on that awesome NeoGeo X system !!!
I love NeoGeo's fighting games, and it was a childhood dream of mine to own a NeoGeo console. However, I haven't been able to commit to buying the NG X because I keep telling myself that I have all the NeoGeo games I could ever need on the various NeoGeo "Anthology", "Collection", and "Best Of" compilations available on the PS2. BUT then I saw that Last Blade is included on that awesome Mega Pack that you bought !!! That's all the incentive I need !

Yeah, I feel pretty lucky. The place that I found him at is a used book/record/tape trader type store (similar to Hastings) where what they carry is whatever people bring in to sell to them. I usually never go there looking for figs, but my GF happened to be there earlier in the day, and kinda innocently asked me if I had it. Of course it led to a rather mad dash to get there!

My guess is that someone was dumping off their collection and didn't want to be bothered with Craigslist or Ebay, as there were also several of the larger Arkham City figures (Grundy and Croc) as well as FF Spidey and Emma Frost in a glass case with higher dollar figures. (FF Spidey was $30, while Emma was $40, with Wolvie, Cyclops and Sabertooth in the 10 to 15 dollar range.) I feel pretty bad that someone probably got little to nothing for them (since these trader type stores don't usually barter well) but I'm grateful nevertheless!

Emma was one of those figures that I needed to see in person in order to commit to getting her, but I really didn't like the paint apps, especially on her face. She had a really bad lazy eye that kinda reminded me of the Toxic Crusader for some reason. I really wish that Hasbro would have given us the Rogue running change, because I would have bought her (and probably the Puck BAF set) in a heartbeat.
