Well, I finally have my 1/6 Batman. Never was too keen on the Nolan designs (or any other movie suits), and the Sideshow Bats will have tons of cool accessories but I've never liked the blue/Grey suit.

I just gotta rearrange my shelf now, 'cause it's in a state of flux at the moment. I'll be getting the Sideshow Catwoman soon too, so I've got to figure something out.

I got Marvel Legends Baron Zemo last night:

And during lunch today I picked up a copy of The Death Of Captain America Complete Collection that Barnes and Noble ordered for me:

that batman is cool, though, the black and grey has never been my favorite though.

also, i don't think that joker pairs well with that batman.. i think the sideshow joker would look incredible with that batman.

Eh, agree to disagree. The way I look at it, Sideshow Joker is heavily stylized and very much inspired by the comic. This Dead End Batman, on the other hand, is based on a real person who played the character in the fan film Batman: Dead End much like how my Joker was based on Heath Ledger's likeness. It's tough for me to get a good pic of him, but Bats' head sculpt is nearly dead-on to the one in the movie and, while not Hot Toys quality, is painted very well to boot.

Batman's costume is obviously more ridiculous and comic booky compared to TDK Joker's, but I'm willing to accept that just because I haven't liked any of the movie batsuits to date. I had a 1/6 TDK Batman for a little while, but I really don't care for Bale's Batman so I ended up selling him off.

It's all just personal preference, though. I actually briefly considered getting a couple of different head sculpts for that Joker to swap them out depending on my mood. Nicholson, Sideshow... there's even a custom Arkham Asylum Joker head sculpt floating around online that you can buy. I decided not to drop that much money on one character, though.

I think that Batman is incredible. The black and grey suit has always been a favorite of my own, and the head sculpt on that one is really good. I'm on the same boat as you with never being a big fan of the Nolan looks. I thought the batsuit looked great in "Batman Begins", but looked a bit too Metal Gear-ish in the others. "Dead End" nailed the look in my opinion. He'd look great up against a Hot Toys Predator!

Just curious, seeing as that looks like a third party figure, who made it?
