Picked up a loose MS agent venom figure for $2!!! in amazing condition just missing a gun. Also found a fisher price building set that should work well with ML just needs to be rebuilt.

Here’s some stuff I’ve gotten over the past week:
I received the Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi Black Series 6 inch scale figures via UPS from Toys R Us after the always stellar USPS lost the first shipment of them to me. Unfortunately these arrived with damaged packaging but I was intending on opening them anyway to review. ![]() ![]() And then I found a Black Series Merumeru 3.75 inch scale figure today at Wal-Mart. ![]()

I just picked up the 2 packs of cosmos/payload and swerve/flanker. Just when I thought I'd never see them. Holy crap. Too stoked.

Here is today's haul! Found the Sentinel and Galactus at a yard sale from a former KB Toys employee, perfect condition! $50 for both. Stopped at TRU and couldn't pass up the Grimlock

Went to check out the AoE stuff and stumbled on Marvel Universe Aurora and almost picked up a clearanced Avengers movie Nick Fury.
Walked in planning on getting evasion mode prime, ended up walking out with Aurora, dino riders prime and Drift, and a Constructobots Grimlock instead. They also had GI Joe Retaliaton Cobra Snipers, Alley vipers, cyber ninjas, Jinx, Hard master, and Lady Jaye. Not a good day to be on limited funds. xD I could dropped a c-note on all the stuff I've been waiting to hit their shelves. Poor wallet was screaming as it was with what I did buy! And yes, I swapped prime and drift's heads. Drift Prime FTMFW! Last edited by Snowflakian; 05-17-2014 at 11:56 AM.. |

After over a year of searching stores everywhere...I finally found the MU Daredevil/Bullseye two pack, along with ML: Thor, at Ross of all places. There was no way I was gonna miss them again.
![]() Hit Target on the way home from Ross, and came across this guy. I wasn't intending on getting him originally, as I didn't really care much for the Sandtrooper figure, but after seeing him in person, there was no way I could pass him up. The details on him are just too sick. I wish Hasbro put this much detail into all of their figures. ![]() |

I really want to pick that Prime up, but the blue top arms kinda bug me as does the no mouth plate.
I'm kind of hoping down the line there's a variation with the arm biceps being red and the head having a mouth plate. So I'm torn on waiting or getting that one now since DOTM megatron was one of the few previous movie toys I kept. |

I lol'd at "placeholder" so hard! After seeing the upcoming MonsterArts version, that is exactly what I thought about the NECA vesion! Nicely done. That image of 2014 Zilla with a slushee is priceless!

The upcoming Takara Tomy version looks to be your savior here. While it lacks the face plate, he looks waaaay better than the Hasbro version. I'm not even an OP fan, and I might pick up the Takara version of this guy simply because his alt G1 truck mode is freakin sweet. Just would have to find a different head, or maybe swap it out from one of my older figs.
![]() I'm really digging the Construct-o-bots Grimlock though. He scales incredibly well to my Halo mini figs. I'm torn now on wanting the Dinobots that way or getting the normal deluxe/voyager ones. Might end up getting both. Damn my wallets going to be crying this year. Wow, the halo area's a lot dustier than I remember. Might have to fix that too in a bit. xD Last edited by Snowflakian; 05-17-2014 at 02:44 PM.. |

I kind of wish they went a little more G1 on the paint scheme than that. It's still a nice blend of movie to g1, but I might get the Hasbro one and just paint the upper arms red. Unless I get the two pack chromed out version.

Might end up getting both. Damn my wallets going to be crying this year. Hard to say on the Dinobots as to which ones are honestly better. I think all of them thus far are pretty nice, but I think the Construct Bots beat out the main line's figures ever so slightly. As awesome of aesthetic the Dino-Bot theme is on Deluxe/Voyager figures, they have some serious issues in Dinosaur mode (especially Slugg) with tabs not pegging in place properly due to the mixture of hard plastics and soft rubber parts. They fall apart quite easily in dinosaur mode (SLUGG...UGH!) and the way Grimlock's hands are fixed to his feet (Grim's feet plug into his forearms in robot mode, making his articulated wrist, well...non-articulating.) is really annoying and is more of a pain to deal with, which is a shame because the transformations are easy and fun. Plus, Voyager Grimlock's weapon SUCKS compared to Construct Bot Grimlock. At least you don't have to transform and deal with those ridiculous horns on Voyager Grimlock, and can keep them flat on his Carnotaurus mode. When you stick them up, he ends up looks like some kind of wierd, tiger-striped, two legged chihuahua. With all the Hasbro bashing that people do, kudos to them for at least giving us that option. ![]() |
