So I decided to pick up the original Alien MonsterArt since Amazon had him on sale for $39 and he arrived today.










I might be returning him for a refund.

Well this is bull****. My FedEx has misplaced my FiguartsTigerRanger. He was supposed to be here at the same time they delivered Dragonzord. Not happy!!! In the meantime though:























He is really awesome but his transformations seem overly complicated. In the mode with Tri/Tig/Mas his legs do not lock in so they keep flopping if you lift him up. Also, the tail drill is way too huge as a weapon. On the dragon mode himself, it is amazing as it is fully posseable and everything, but the drill is way too big. Maybe they should have made the big base piece removable or something. The other mode with Daizyujin is frustrating to attach to his body, but it does look great when on, even if he seems really top heavy. I love this guy, the interchangeable hands, the fact that every single piece of detail is not only show accurate, but also sculpted and painted on. He is vastly superior to the original toy, especially in dragon mode.

That's the price for the premium HW lines, not the basic cars. Trust me, the premium versions are worth the difference in price.

If you can find it at retail, the basic version of the Jetson's car shouldn't be more than $1.00 USD. It will be a slightly different mold (clear wheels attached to a car-like undercarriage instead of the classic design from the cartoon and a detachable transparent blue flight stand that comes with the premium version).

Strange, But would you really NOT want the Ecto-1??? I have not seen Winston alone anywhere, waiting on Ecto set. BUT they did make Marty and Doc for Back to the Future alone and the Deloren is coming with a Marty that looks the same as the single pack.

I have to say though, getting everyone to stand up for the Howling Canon (Power Blaster) is a pain in the ass. There is just no way to position them show accurately.

Yeesh...that's one funky looking Big Chap. I'm not really sure what to make of it.

Other than the overly white skull in his head, and what I am assuming to be articulation issues with the head and neck, are there any other issues with the figure overall?

He's grown on me a lot in the last day, which is great. The sculpt looks accurate to Giger's work and I love his articulation.

The only other aspect that could be an issue is his tail, as due to the die cast tip, it cannot stay in the air for more than a few minutes.

I do wish they would have made the dome the opaque dirty white it should have been though, as you can even see the skull clearly in darkened shots.
