Decided to take a quick look into my local Forbidden Planet on my way home from work. My wallet hates me.

They had the black pauldron Sandtrooper too, but I passed up on him. I'm not one for army building and I already own the first sandtrooper, stormtrooper and clone trooper, so he was an easy pass.

I just picked those up recently also. The SW Black series is really kicking it in gear with the second year figures. (Blue Background) Now where is my Lando as Baron Administrator of Cloud City????

After over a year of waiting...and several delays....he finally arrived.

And DAMN...was he worth the wait....

I'd buy that for a dollar! (...or several hundred more...)

My apologies for the bad photos...and the dirty corner I posed him in. They really do not do him iron justice!

Thanks...I was worried that he might turn out differently for the worst since Hot Toys didn't have Weller's likeness approved at the time that they started working on this one...but it really came out amazing. The die cast metal is blended in wonderfully with plastic, and it's hard to tell what's what at times. He also came with two Auto-9's...one being die cast metal so it can be holstered in his leg, with the other being traditional plastic. It even has a slide and a removable magazine. I still haven't gotten around to grabbing batteries for the vocal phrases yet...which I'll probably be doing tomorrow. He's also a very heavy figure...he weighs easily about 6 or 7 pounds out of the package. You could kill a burglar with him if you wanted...lol.

This was my first Hot Toys purchase, and while I was on the fence with several others before it, I love the original Robocop so much that when they announced him, I pre-ordered the second it went live. A year and several delays later....It was definitely worth the wait.

i absolutely agree. i really hate those clam shell packages. they look so much better in a box and they're much easier to open.

My girlfriend managed to find something today that I have never been able to...it's no wonder why I love her so much.

And in an attempt to redeem myself somewhat for the shoddy pics of Hot Toys Robocop yesterday, I just wanted to share a few more of much better quality.

Your move...creep!

Here are today's acquisitions:

First, I found another Bad Blood Predator to open and review at a future date. The first one I picked up just looked so great on that undamaged card-back so he won’t be opened and will be going into my MIMB collection instead.

Next, I picked up a real treasure. Everybody knows who Dirty Harry is, or at least I hope they do. Well, a used bookstore that I have done business with in the past received a nearly pristine copy of one of the Dirty Harry novels that were published between when The Enforcer and Sudden Impact were released. I hope that I can find some more of these novels in this nice of a condition in the future as I really liked seeing Inspector Callahan dispense his brand of justice on the big screen. And since these novels are a bit of a rarity and long out of print, they tend to be a bit expensive if they’re in this nice of a condition.

The light reflection is due to a book protector that the owner was kind enough to give me to keep the book looking nice.

I still have mine too. I miss ReSaurus. I did not know they did a second edition with the blue trim. Looks strange to me. And yes you can put the boys in the trunk. I wish the line had gone long enough to get Racer X's car made.

I have been looking for the Avengers Assemble figures at discount stores and I finally found Nick Fury at 1 Ross this morning. I got one and left the other one:

Still nothing at my local 5 Below stores. I hit 2 other Ross stores and a Marshalls and I didn't find anything at those stores.

I'm in Atlanta for work and went hunting. This is what I found between a Target and a vintage toy store.
