Although it's possible that they merely went overboard with Huntress' size, because she seems to be oversized compared to most of the other characters from what I've seen online. Maybe I would be happier with Starfire if it was the only one I bought? |

Ehh, it's okay. The original drawing is quite amazing and beautiful overall, but the statue itself doesn't quite capture it like I would've hoped. It looks more like Snookie cosplaying as Starfire, which... isn't ideal. She seems too short and wide next to Huntress, which is the only other Bishoujo statue I own.

Maybe I would be happier with Starfire if it was the only one I bought? That's a good thing considering this is my haul from this past week or so. I think my wallet is having a seizure even though I got the Spidey figs for a stupid good deal. Pretty sure I blew my action figure budget for the next few months. ![]() Last edited by Kirathis; 11-15-2014 at 12:23 PM.. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Got this in the mail today! Absolutely great box, perfect for mint collectors who still wanna see the figure inside and an interior flap space which seems perfect for autographs (though to truly enjoy it you gotta open it). Phenomenal sculpt and detailing with perfect accessories from the iconic fedora to the tongue-phone. Awesome pose with a ball-jointed neck where the head can be swapped for one of three options, ball-hinged shoulders and elbows, ball-jointed wrists (with swap options for the left hand), what feels like a double ball-jointed torso under a softer plastic sweater piece, ball-hinged hips and knees, and finally ball-jointed ankles which allow for some pivot. Easily the best and definitive Freddy Krueger ever made in this scale (or possibly any scale) and I highly recommend it to any fan of the film. I would say 10 out of 10, but this figure brings it up to 11 and I can't wait to see what other characters get the ultimate treatment now.

I meant long-term that we don't know about yet. They said Leatherface and Dante from DMC will be the next "ultimate" figures.

I don't normally do the 5POA figures anymore, but I ran into the Rebels Saga Legends version of Jango Fett tonight. I really dug the sculpt as it brought back memories of my old Power Of The Force Boba, and at the cheap price point, I thought "Why not?" My smaller Slave 1 finally has a pilot!
![]() No pictures, but I also ran into the Boba/Stormtrooper 2 pack, and will probably be picking up that one the next time I run into it. |

I'd personally love to see a Jason Voorhees with the different variations of his mask, and swappable body parts (interchangeable hands...featuring the gloved hands from part 6 and the wounded hand from part 4, interchangeable heads from parts 3, 4, and 6.) Thrown in the removable weapons belt from part 6, and add in a machete, axe, pitchfork, butcher cleaver, survival knife, broken whiskey bottle, removeable neck chain and a human heart for accessories, and I'd be in heaven. Heck...I might even retire from this hobby at that point...

2: Its too good, I don't know the entire process for making these figures from idea to shelf but to keep it at $21 retail they'd probably have to pick a single movie and go from there. When people on Twitter have asked about the possibility of ultimate Jason, NECA said "but which one is the ultimate look?" It's a decent question I guess, his exact clothes weren't as constant as Freddy's sweater and fedora. I would go for part 3 Jason for introducing the hockey mask, but honestly it could be any costume that had the proper mask and I doubt most collectors would complain.

I think the only way to do a "ultimate" Jason would be a box set with multiple Jason figures to represent his different looks. and it would need a boat load of accessories, like severed mom head, axe, machete, weed whacker, removable hockey mask, burlap sack, chains, hedge trimmer, hunting knife, ect.

I found Jango at my local TRU. Clone Wars Obi Wan, the Snowtrooper, and Jango were the only ones on the peg, as they had been thoroughly picked through.

I would say part 7 is my Iconic Jason. The first time Kane Hodder played the part. He is Jason to me, and a really awesome guy to meet in person. You get the decayed form of Jason with some of the bones showing and that would look great. I really want NECA to do Jason from part 7,8,9,and X. I love Uber Jason from Jason X (so does Kane:-) and would love a new version(I still have the old McFarlane ones) along with a Jason goes to Hell figure. They even could do both regular and Uber Jason from X. I want to know why NECA has not ever finished the versions of Jason.
I'm thinking it might have something to do with film rights to the look of those characters with Paramount, approval from the creators and make up artists who designed those looks, or perhaps that it's just easier to do the classic version of Jason when it comes to cost, sculpt and playability (which is probably the most likely.) For me...it will always be parts 3, 4, and 6, but I'm not against an original idea either, provided it makes sense. I've seen a lot of cosplayers at conventions come up with Jason concepts that are a turn away from the movies, but look seriously awesome. The figure I described and dream of incorporates looks and accessories from those three movies, and would be the easiest for NECA to do as an ultimate figure simply because his base costume (Green shirt with tan or greyish khaki pants) was the most similar in those movies, and would be the most cost efficient to make. Combine that with the accessories, and we get to see the transition from deformed stalker to unstoppable undead killing machine, without putting out a simple repaint of a figure that we already have. |

I picked these up at B&N today:
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have to say that I like the manga Piccolo better than the anime one. I like the shades for the green and purple better, the joints are much tighter (I don't have his sleeve falling off all of the time), and overall, it just looks nicer as a toy. I am going to see if I can sell off the anime version now. The Impact Set is cool, but I don't think it was worth $20. If it at least came with some arms and a stand, it would be worth it, but as is, it shouldn't really be more than $15.

A lot of these have been tempting, but so far I've stopped myself after just getting Krillin and 18. But then I saw 3.75" DBZ toys listed on BBTS, and HAD to pre-order a case instantly. Have you seen those yet? They're starting with Bardock, Broli and Super Saiyan Goku. Throwing them in with my MU and Multiverse figures is just way too tempting. |

Ran into two more Saga Legends 5POA figures today while at a local TRU.
Like the Jango Fett I picked up yesterday, I really dug the sculpt of the Boba Fett, and the fact that he came with a Stormtrooper really didn't hurt either. ![]() I also found the Inquisitor! While I was on the fence initally when I first saw pictures of the figure on this site, I really warmed up to him when I saw him in person. The figure's got some nice paint apps that are nice and clean, is well sculpted for being only 5POA, and does a good job of representing the character from the show. The low price point for a pretty good looking figure never hurts either. ![]() Finally, managed to snag me another Cobra Trooper from a blind bag! COOBRAA!!! ![]() |

No I have not, but I'm just not into figures that small anymore. Plus, Figuarts is all I need for DB related stuff.

The impact effects don't come with any stands or arms? Yeesh. Thanks for saving me some money. Always planned on buying at least one at some point, but not if I'll have to buy anything extra. Gets expensive quick.
