I haven't bought much recently. In the realm of hot wheels, I did manage to FINALLY find two snoopy cars.
I got brainstorm from HTS, he showed up and his head broke right off, so I emailed them, and they promptly sent me out a new one that I got within 3 days, so shout out to hasbro toy shop and their great customer service.

It sucks that Brainstorm's head wasn't handled as well as it could have been. They should have sacrificed the ball joint in favor of actual stability. I still intend to get him though.

I found multiple Snoopy cars a month ago, had been looking for it for a long time. Later I even found it again on the half card, but that one has been gifted.

Nice haul. It definitely seems the Endoskeleton is the most desired from the Robocop vs Terminator line, when I found mine it was the last one but there were a lot of each of the other figures. Also, COBRAAAAAA!

I just had a friend try Lootcrate and Nerd Block both out this month for the first time. She did not care for the Lootcrate, but it is the most affordable box sub out there. They have been pretty hit and miss to me. Watch unboxing videos and you can get a sense of what to expect. She was happy with her Nerd Block cause she got a Val Kilmer autograph , on a special exclusive Willow print, and a Harry Potter shirt. NB will run you about 30$ a month, but you get a shirt every month. LC you only seem to get a shirt every 3-4 months. NB also has Horror Blocks, Arcade Blocks, and NB Jr. blocks for boys and girls. You always take a chance with all the monthly box stuff, but that is supposed to be part of the fun. IF you wait until close to the cutoff dates each month you can at least get an idea of what the subject and theme will be for them all. They give hints in the weeks before.
Yes HTS is actually pretty awesome, love their customer service. |

Finally got Arcee and Chromia.
Definitely getting another Arcee if I see her on shelves. Hands down my favorite generations figure that's been made yet! So much so, that I want one for bot mode and one to keep in vehicle mode. As it is, I alternate her every time the mood strikes. |

I got a copy of the Marvel Super Special Return Of The Jedi comic adaptation in the mail yesterday. I thought this was in pretty good shape considering it's over 30 years old:
![]() I was a bit worried that the postal service employees would do something to damage the box it arrived in as they are prone to do. Thankfully they didn't screw up this time around.

Edit:
I think I should clarify, because I said I'd had no "major" QC issues. It's a loose description since I've definitely had QC problems, I just don't find them to be too dreadful for the toys. From their Pacific Rim line my Coyote Tango had the right cannon fall off, but it easily plugs back on and stays on even when shaken. Caesar from dotpota has the red stripe on his forehead off-center, Elder Predator v2 has a spot of silver under his right eye, blue warrior alien has bowed legs and can't stand upright without support, and the worst is Hive Wars Predator's right forearm wasn't assembled right. That one might be a deal breaker for many, but the pose I keep him in does a great job of hiding it. I never did get around to opening my Hive Wars Predator. It does appear that the arms on mine were assembled correctly but who knows, it could have some other defect that's not readily seen in the package like wonky hip joints so I'll probably just keep it in my MIMB collection. I really wanted to get that Robocop that NECA made some time ago with the spring-loaded holster as it does appear to be a nice rendition of the character and that spring-loaded holster is an attractive feature. I ultimately decided to pass on it because of the lack of quality control that I've run into on the Predator figures. Someone mentioned the quality control at NECA being hit or miss. I have to disagree, it's more like miss or miss badly.

Things like that Predator arm not being assembled right just irritate me. It underscores the major QC issues that NECA has on a nearly constant basis. Valuing profit margins over quality control isn't acceptable to me but that's the mentality of American corporations nowadays and that's not going to change anytime soon.

I have to disagree, it's more like miss or miss badly. I have to disagree with "miss or miss badly" and go with "hit or miss" for NECA QC. If it really were miss or miss badly then there wouldn't be any good figures available. The fact that all of my kaiju from Pacific Rim are perfect is an example of some success. Others being my Bioshock figures, Prometheus, Evil Dead 2 Hero Ash, Cherno Alpha, and Nightstorm Predator (most of my predators are great but he stands out as far as everything goes). Watching various behind the scenes videos and just generally following the company, it's apparent the guys at NECA have a passion for their work but we have to remember they're a relatively small company. They're insects compared to giants like Hasbro or Mattel, and even those guys have had serious QC problems in various lines. Of course profit matters more than quality, you said it yourself this is America.

Thanks! It was about four months in the making, but it was nice to have it arrive before Christmas, and outside my MonsterArts Zilla having a slightly damaged box, everything was really well packed as BBTS always does. While they can be pricey at times, hands down, they're my favorite place to go for what I'm looking for.

I'm an avid collector of both the Robocop series and the Predator series by NECA, and if it brings you any comfort, I've yet to have any QC issues with my Robo's, and that includes my ED-209. They have their share of fragile parts (such as the pistons on the ankles,) but in comparison to the Predator and Pacific Rim lines, seem to be better built overall. |

If you're having trouble finding the spring holstered Robocop, might I suggest you picking up the Robocop that comes with the jetpack from part 3. If you don't mind the blue tinted decal of the sequels, it's hands down the best Robo that they have done thus far. It has the spring loaded holster, and the accessories are the best of the bunch as you get the gun arm attachment, the jetpack, and the cobra assault rifle...state of the art "bang bang"...

I think Robocop is too tankish to really mess up as far as durability goes. I passed on the jetpack Robocop purely because of the bad memories that color scheme brings. If it's ever discounted I might overlook the blue, but I'm holding onto hope they'll do a comic style version from Miller's Robocop vs Terminator. They already did the game figures, they're doing comic Predators, bring on the comic Robocop please.
Also...my 400th post. Wow...that was quick. |

I like the Endo, but couldnt find the Robocop , there was the Robocop with the jetpack but I think they are not the same scale(?). And TRU is asking $25 for it.
