Just bought one of those MOS spaceships that have the superman/zod missle gimmick and for 7.99 I still feel I paid too much for it the damn thing is tiny, but I love the design of its body. Its desfinetly different but so happy I didn't get it at full retail. Ingot the black/purple zod one and if they get discounted further ill get the others

I am sorry to have read about your Tacit Ronin breaking, but at least you were able to return it. I enjoy having it on the shelf but I think it is easily the most fragile Jaeger simply due to its odd design. The knees on mine are fairly loose and the shoulders don't give at the swivel, though they do work on the hinge going in and out. I don't know if you ever collected the kaiju from the line but they seem to have way less problems, likely due to having organic massive forms. It's harder to mess up on something so much more solid.

I wouldn't know if you should blame NECA or rather TRU for poor distribution, because I have seen both in person and through Twitter that some TRUs have little to no adult collectibles while others are packed with them. I would guess that like any big chain store TRU uses warehouses to gather up items and then trucks them out to specific stores, so I would pin the lack of items more on TRU's decision that the toys would better sell at a different location.

I know the feeling. The Milano was $7.50 at walmart, I was hoping it could fit the 3.75" figures. I'll have to rig it to fit them.

Finally back from Japan... but this time I didn't bought much, since nothing really made my toy-sense tingling... except for this Tomica Rescue vehicle... no command part but for 5$ my kid can catapult his Hot Whells through the room with weird japanese voices

I was in a shop in Hokkaido (countryside) and they had this strange Ame-Comi figs sale... I got a Lady Death Toyfare Edition for 4$... They had so many of them I had to buy one, just because it was super weird to find that kind of limited items in such quantities in that kind of store...

On a side note, I wanted to share with you the "third season" of Avengers Disc Wars... as you can see, our heroes got upgrades, and Iron Man even got an armor on his armor... It's also funny to see how this armored-Hulk actually looks a lot like the W1 Marvel Infinite one, minus the DBZ-esque monocle, of course!

Lsst toy hunt and haul of the year and I got everything I was hoping to find. I got both the closed and open handed Arcees and Chromia at a local Walmart and got the Combiner Wars figures at Target.

I have never really had issues with NECA, the only time that I ever had a problem was with the Kill Bill 2 Pai Mei figure. They were using those crappy clear joints that get stuck when they are painted and his arm broke off.
Maybe I am just lucky with them. Now McFarlane on the other hand, brittle plastic and crappy joints, walking dead is an exception though- they have been good.
Sadly, Funko is using the crappy clear joints and so far they have had several QC issues. The daenerys targaryen figure's elbow cracked right out of the package and one leg will not move, the tyrion lannister has a warped peg in the lower leg so there is a big gap and you can't turn it without it falling off.
I hope they correct these issues before they release Rocketeer and Firefly, That will be quite an investment on crappy quality.
