Where did you find Bossk ? I've been scouring the Walgreens in my area, but I haven't spotted any of the figures from the newest wave yet.

I am not really into Transformers anymore but Beast Wars was always my favorite and I have been going back and forth with getting this Rhinox for awhile. Snagged Waspinator as well since I found good deals on both of them.

Rhinox there was my Transformer of 2014. An almost perfect figure for my favorite Maximal, Waspinator is a fantastic update as well. I also really dig the new Rattrap but of the three it's the weakest. Now I really want Quickstrike and Tarantulas updates.

Yeah, I love my interested in Transformers too a few years back, but I have been tempted to pick up Rhinox, Waspy, and Rattrap every now and then. I then have to remind myself that I don't need them and have no place for them. Now, if they were to just do at least the rest of the S1 cast like this, I might not be able to resist.

If they redo Tarantulas and Dinobot I'll pick them up on sight.

Be careful in showing all that love to POTF figures. They only have 5 POA and that's generally met with sneers and looks of disgust around these parts...
I speak in jest of course...I still have most of my POTF figures and love them every bit of much as I did back then. I mean, who cares if Dengar can't throw a sweet roundhouse kick? Speaking of 5 POA goodness...my Sabine finally came in today from HTS, with the dark helmet scheme I was hoping for no less! ![]() |

Actually PotF toys have 6 POA on average: neck, shoulders, waist, and hips.

That Cap, along with the helmeted version, are my two favorite Caps made in that scale. The unmasked one looks great when paired up alongside G.I.Joes in particular.
I love how they tried to make Dengar relevant in the Clone Wars cartoon, and even then, everyone he worked with still treated him like rubbish. So much disdain for the toilet paper bandage man. Poor Dengar. Quote:

Just kidding man...forgot about those stupid waist swivels. Seeing people sing the praises of POTF figures though, I had to poke the bear a bit considering how many gripes and complaints you will see about 5POA figures on other threads. The old POTF figures didn't carry that much more in terms of articulation, and were bad ass, and many of them (especially the bounty hunters) still hold up pretty well to this day. Maybe it's just a reflection of the times, but it hurts to see how many great toys get put down as "wastes of plastic" simply because they cannot be posed doing a royal octopus submission hold on another figure. |
