Hahaha those are rad. One day, I'll post my whole collection of bootlegos. I have about 200... Which might be a bit excessive, but oh well. They're awesome and practically pennies on the dollar.

I was thrilled to finally spot Jayne and Kaylee while out shopping today ! All of the Mals that I spotted had glaring problems with paint and /or quality, so I had to pass on him for now.
By the time my Previews exclusive knit hat Jayne arrives next week, hopefully I will have found another Mal to display with him for this thread. If I'm really lucky, maybe I will have finally spotted one of those awesome Rocketeer Funko Legacy figures too !
EDIT: BTW, so far, Kaylee is definitely the least impressive figure in this line She's one of my favorite characters from Firefly, so I'm a little disappointed that the figure doesn't look much like Jewel Staite. A parasol accessory with the figure may have softened the blow a little, but no, instead she only comes with a wrench

I can't remember if this is the variant Sabine Wren, or if the one I bought last week (with black paint instead of purple around her helmet's visor) is the variant, but either way, I'm excited to have both versions of her.

Also, a new, and potentially favorite, hat.

The Sabine with black accents is widely considered to be the variant, because the purplish detailed version is more accurate to the show. However the black accented one was released first, so therefore should be the original (but there again, is not because it's not accurate to the show.)

Kinda like the long lightsaber characters from the original POTF line. They came first, but were replaced by characters with shorter more accurate sabers, turning the originals into variants.

Either way, I actually prefer the black accented version over the more accurate one as it makes the helmet pop a little more visually. Hopefully they will get an unmasked version of her out in the near future.

Disappointed in that Haylee sculpt, hopefully a good Mal presents itself for you soon. It's a kick in the gut when I find a figure I've sought for a long time, only to see the only one on the shelf riddled with QC and/or paint errors.

That's exactly how I looked at it. I really want the BAF Hulkbuster, but it was harder for me to justify the cost of buying an entire wave when I only want half the figures in it. Marvel Select Hulkbuster there was $32 after shipping, and is the same height as my legends movie Hulk while being a fair bit chunkier.
Not as cool, but cool enough and I saved a few bucks.

Yeah, I would absolutely love an unmasked version too. I'm curious to see what sort of Rebels figures (if any) that Hasbro plans on premiering at SDCC.

On Friday I went out and when I checked my TRU they had the NECA Terminator Endoskeleton in stock so I picked up two of 'em since they had like nine or so. It's a fine looking figure and is very faithful and accurate to the film, but that's also its biggest problem. Its legs, and ankles in particular, are so thin/frail that it can hardly stand for more than a few hours even on a base. Both figures are free moving with no stuck joints and the one of them took a four foot fall with no breakage but it's the falling that is the problem. I know a cheap doll stand would do the trick to support the back and brace the torso under the arms but it's still frustrating to have to deal with the falling. Regardless of current troubles I overall like them both and will keep one with its gun like the beginning of T2 while the other will have the limp walk going on from the end of the first movie. I just wish that Stan Winston hadn't given the Terminator such little feet and thin legs with a full upper torso, that and the almost useless toe articulation that NECA gave it.

Then today I went to the flea market again and scored some nicely priced Spawn figures. I got the blue Angela to go with the Necroplasm Spawn I got last week, and they do look really nice and very '90s together, and then I got the original Spawn and Redeemer since I like Spawn so why not. Unfortunately due to the toy's age the Redeemer's right arm is no longer attached to the shoulder except for the wires that light it up, with the cape on though it holds in place but I'll probably tape it from the back later to better hold it on and the tape shouldn't even be visible because of the cape.

Just curious, and this is to anyone who has picked these up, how are the joints on these? I was close to picking up Malcolm for my GF's birthday since she is a huge fan, but some of the joints, especially on the wrists looked scary brittle.

Still badass they are available and the stands are awesome! Love how they have exo-suit mode and a bot mode too besides the standard bike. If I had the money, I'd almost consider going for two of each so I could have them in exosuit mode and the team all together separately too.

At my local TRU two of the Malcolms they had were really strained looking on the wrists and seemed barely plugged in, like the box was all that was keeping them in place. I haven't gotten any and don't plan on it but from what what I saw in person these are more like the Game of Thrones series one figures than they are like the Magic figures and even then the Magic figures have their share of flaws. That's all going on the looks thought since I don't have any but if the wrists look messed up in box then that is a strong sign that the figure will have some issues so definitely look 'em over in box.
