I finally found the new monster wave of Lego minifigs here in the UK so I grabbed a bunch



And of course, I went to a Force Friday Midnight Madness last night. I got a free poster, sticker sheet, and Lego minifig key chains!





I managed to be first in line at the toy store I went to, so got the only Black Series figures they had in. They got one box of the first wave... I don't think people were too happy and I felt terrible for buying them all, but that's why I got there early, and it's not like I'm going to scalp them!

not gonna post a lot of the same isht that tons of us are getting from STAr wArS.
snagged some 6 inchers from walmart...and a few of the 3.75 fig...Walmarts prices are great 6.94 for the 4(??) inch figs..and $18.92 for the 6 inch

but came across these at the disney store...The Elite Series....because of them i think i'm going to pass up on many of the 6 inch line...and bring back a few of the 6inchers i picked up earlier..


these (disney exclusives) are 24.95...
Didn't pick up Finn from the Elite Series because....he just looked so boring..

Wanted to do the Force Friday thing...was at the TRU in times square at 8:30pm...looked the time...looked at the line...yawned....and went home...meh..

As far as I know this is the only Comic Style Loki. I got a great deal on that set a month or so ago at Derby City Comic Con. I have no idea what the name of the guy is that sold it to me, but his is the only vendor to sell new and old stuff at pretty darn close to original retail, I only paid $40 for that one.

Dang, wonder what that one goes for on the secondary market...and here I thought my MU collection was pretty much filled :P

Hasbro/Disney is reaping the $$$ for all these SW and the exclusives from these stores...so many exclusives thank goodness I don't collect these.

he was only re-released once in the avengers comic four packs from Walmart.

LOL what's funny is I'm pretty sure that is how I got my Loose Loki now that you mention it. I felt like the luckiest man alive when those Avengers 4 packs were released. Simply because someone returned one to walmart switching the Spiky Helmet Iron Man (The only one I didn't want) with the MU Black Widow (The only avenger missing form that set). At the time BW was pretty hard to find and was selling for almost double retail. The icing on the cake was it was in the clearance section for I think $25 since it was "Not complete".

I was lucky that the midnight sale at Walmart had only me and two others shopping. One of which was an employee on his break to buy some goodies. I had the day off so ran around to see what I could find. I count it a good day even though I missed out on Captain Phasma figures.

I got Joker at my LCS and Kylo Ren at Target. There were plenty of Finn and Chewbacca figures too but I passed on them. There was only one other Kylo Ren figure. No stormtroopers were seen.

There was a comic style Loki that came in an Avengers 4 pack that featured Hulk, Classic Iron Man, and Hawk Eye. They were floating around Ross and TJ Maxx in droves about a year or two ago.

Got a little lucky today, I ran into a little old lady today at Target today who needed some help picking out a Star Wars gift for her 7 year old grandson. After helping her pick out some of the new SW Mashers (which I think are incredible, and might be picking some up...) I was about to leave the aisle with my own disappointment of having not found what I was looking for when she told me that there was another display inside of Target with even more SW stuff. Curious...I went to go check it out, and lone behold, I found what I was looking for.



I saw her again as I walked to the check out line and thanked her for having pointed me in the right direction, because I otherwise would have missed out. Upon seeing Kylo, she asked if they had any more, and sure enough, I was able to find one (the last one no less) for her as well. So her grandson will get an awesome set of Mashers (Vader and the Stormtrooper) and a Black Series Kylo Ren for his birthday next week. It sure felt good to pay it forward.

That said...be sure to check the Seasonal/Halloween display at your local Target, as two of the stores I went to today had 2 separate displays in them, one in the toy aisle, and one by the Halloween costumes.

picked up a couple of things from Walmart this morning and then went to TrU and grabbed a poster or 2 for me and my friend!

saw the walking dead figures at another walmart as well, but didn't buy them! about $30 each!

So finally got a pic of last nights haul...


Went to TRU first, was third in line and after 2 hours of waiting found to my dismay they only received one case of Black Series like many stores, so first two in line cleaned out all but the Finn I grabbed. Moved on to a Walmart on the way back home and luckily they had no clue what they were supposed to be doing. After helping an employee open cases, scored. The last pallet we opened had Black Series but by time we opened it at 1am the TRU crowd had arrived behind me. Was able to get first choice at the Black series though and quickly snagged the rest needed. Went back today and grabbed a few of the smaller scale to see they were cleaned out of almost everything. Tonight TRU, Target, and 2 Walmarts officially have no figures left except mashers and little in the die-casts. I would say this was a success for retailers here.
