I just felt like posting that my Force Awakens black series 6" Chewie arrived yesterday and even though I'm waiting until my birthday at the end of the month to open it, he looks great. Much better than the previous black series Chewie whose open mouth looked less like a roar and more like a yawn to me. My first order Stormtrooper is set to arrive Tuesday, again I'll wait until my birthday to open it. I like waiting to open things I get this month, it's delayed gratification and it allows me to hold on to that sense of childhood.

Nice hauls, been waiting for the Doctor Strange ML to hit stores by us here safely though our stores doesn't keep a great stock of marvel legends.

Last night while I was grocery shopping at my local grocery store I checked out the toy aisle to see if they got any Force Awakens stuff, they actually did but it was just those big ones like Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, and the Stormtrooper. Either way, my eyes caught some clearance tags and I noticed that the Walking Dead stuff was half off so I decided to pick up two of the zombies for the hell of it.

They're alright, they are severely lacking in pose but they look good for their size (and what a weird size it is, thanks for making stuff in a scale that nobody else uses McFarlane). I decided to take a picture with the only other zombie toy I own, a Smoker from L4D2, and it almost comically looks like a father walking his kid to school.

Overall these are not bad but they aren't very good either, just okay. They look cool but there's a reason I never picked any of these up until they were now half off.

that was always my problem with McFarlane stuff, they're more like statues. the sculpts are beyond awesome, but they're mostly made to be in one specific pose and I needs my articulation.

But then the humans in the Walking Dead line have decent articulation but "bleh" faces. The heads could be because of the scale since the large figures look a lot better but it's almost like they have different teams making the zombies compared to the people.

Picked up these 4 from a guy in a Facebook group for dirt cheap - just as well as the condition of a couple of these aren't in great condition. Nice to add them to the UNSC though!



And I got these guys form eBay as they're starting to appear in the UK. I'm a big fan of both of these guys, especially the colours! Can't wait to get them out and posed!




And I couldn't decide what new Predator to go for out of the new series, but the fact that this guy is a really nice green and doesn't have unpainted netting swung him for me.

Yeah those zombies look great but some them only have a swivel or 2, always disappointed when I get one.

Scavage is pretty cool, I passed on him in favor of Renegade and Cracked Tusk since the unpainted netting really doesn't bother me. I got all of series 10 back in 2013 and since I like Nightstorm's look a lot more than Scavage it made passing up Scavage a hell of a lot easier, he is still a little bit tempting occasionally. Black/dark blue and faded gold > teal green and silverish IMO.
