I'd love to know the story behind all of the recent headless figures on ebay. something odd had to go down for some dude in China to end up with what seems like an endless supply of torsos from every line, some that were never officially produced. is there a train car parked in some old stock yard In Tianjin full of heads? it's maddening!

Took about a month to get to me, but I FINALLY got my prize: a lot of Palisades Muppets figures from Ebay! for 200 bucks, I got:
Janice (silver shirt) Floyd Pepper Statler Waldorf Vacation Pepe Scooter Animal (Collector's paradise version) Considering Statler and Waldorf by themselves are usually 100+, I think I made out pretty well! (also snagged a regular Sam the Eagle for TWELVE BUCKS!!!) It's a good time to be a Muppets fan!!! ![]() |

Today's haul...all from Gamestop. Everyone was too obsessed and distracted in picking up their "future warfare gun roster update 2015 Full Price DLC" today to notice these...
![]() ![]() Little bummed that Dovakhiin didn't come with his iron shield like he was originally advertised to, and was missing paint apps on his face for his face scruff...but to hell with it, I'm still excited to have him! The Daedric Warrior was also available...but I opted not to pick him up, as he seemed really light on accessories, and I was never a fan of the armor in the game. The paint apps though were incredible...definitely Funko's best thus far. |

You should look into them! They're the Palisades Muppets line; exquisite sculpts, great articulation and tons of amazing accessories! Plus they've got tons of variants, exclusives and running changes, so it'd be right up your alley

They did En Sabah. They had both figures in the wave, but I'm not familiar with the Fallout games, so I wouldn't be able to tell you what they were. One was a guy who looked like a stormtrooper, and the other was a blonde haired guy wearing blue that kinda looked like Pip-boy realized.
I think these are being shipped together in the same case, as there was exactly one of each figure on the pegs, and it wouldn't surprise me, considering that both the Fallout and Skyrim figs only have 2 figures each in their respective waves. |

Hoooooooly crap, the Skyrim Legacy figures are available.
![]() They're beautiful! If it's not too much trouble, I'd love it if anyone snapped some pictures of theirs once freed from the packaging. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now...after having him out and fiddling around a bit...here's some thoughts. He has articulation in the wrists, elbows, shoulders, head, waist, legs, double jointed knees, and ankles. Elbows are on a swivel, legs are on a T joint, but have no swivel at the upper thigh, which makes him very hard to get into dynamic poses, as the leg greaves make it difficult to move his ankles around. There's no ankle rocker either which makes standing him difficult. The weapons fit in either hand, however the sword fits easier in his right hand than his left. The dagger works in either mitt. The sword also fits perfectly in his sheath. There's no sheath or storage for the dagger, however you can tuck it into the belt holding his sword sheath on, and it works nicely due to the dagger's hilt. Not having the iron shield though that was shown in several of the prototype shots though kinda sucks. Paints are consistent all around, however (and I knew it would) the sculpt really hurts the articulation. Because of the kilt/skirt, it's nearly impossible for him to kick forward, and it also inhibits his leg articulation horizontally as well. Not having a thigh swivel hurts this even more. Mine also had very loose joints at the elbows, they move up and down and hold quite well...but the horizontal swivel was very loose, basically giving him helicopter arms at the elbows. The shoulders articulate well enough, however the shoulder armor on the right shoulder also inhibits that arm as well. And although it looks like he has articulation at the calf/boot, I assure you, he doesn't, and since the boots are bulky, it puts the double jointed knees to waste. And again, the lack of ankle rockers makes standing him kind of a pain in the ass. Complaints aside, honestly, I am happy just to have a figure for Skyrim on my shelf, so despite the faults, I honestly do adore it. I knew what to expect due to the sculpt and the company's (Funko's) reputation, so I knew I wasn't getting a MAFEX or Figurearts quality figure. Honestly, the only thing that bummed me out was the lack of thigh swivel, iron shield, and the loose arms. Still though, I don't pose or play too much with my toys as is...they usually get posed and placed on a shelf, so that considereing it feels good for me to have him up on my shelf, considering that Skyrim was literally the only game I played for almost 2 years straight. And yes...those pics were taken on top of a toilet. The good lamp in the bedroom died, so it was the best lighting I could get in the house...lol. I don't like how the Lone Wanderer came out. It's because (to my knowledge) no trailers ever gave him/her a poster look, as where the very first Skyrim trailer featured a version of the Dovahkiin. The armored 101 jump suit is a fair choice for attire and the hunting rifle is okay as it's a very common and early game accessible weapon, but giving him a face is weak to me. The power armor figure on the other hand is Fallout 3's cover and is featured in the primary trailer/opening scene.

As long as there is some movement in the legs, I'm good with it. I'm not gonna be making him run, or anything like that. Love the sculpt work, finding one of those is my quest for the week! |
