Discovered a fresh batch of wave 2 of the Force Awakens Black Series the other day in one of my local Tesco stores. Unfortunately yet again someone had got to Phasma before me! They were nice enough to leave a Guavian Enforcer behind though, which I swiped up immediately. Reminds me of the Captain America: First Avenger comic series Crossbones I got back in 2011. A character I knew nothing about at the time but just had to get it because of how cool it looked. Looking forward to seeing them in the movie.
Yesterday I went on the hunt for the latest wave of the Marvel Infinite Series in my local Sainsburys. All of them were there except Colossus. Fortunately it was Deadpool I wanted the most. Had enough for a couple so I grabbed the last Korg too. It's been a while since the stores round here have had a new wave of these. Most of them have skipped a couple over the past few months. Feels good to see some new ones again. Last edited by A Friend; 11-08-2015 at 09:53 AM.. |

I forgot to post this Moon looking display. It's pretty awesome! It looks just like the moon when you hang it from the wall. I wish I hadn't thrown the box away so quick but, I'm sure you can find a photo of it online. @ Target too...

Been waiting a long time to do one of these 3D metal model kits. It was very difficult and frustrating, but I'm glad I finished it.

So far my favorites are Soundwave, the millenium falcon, and the star destroyer. I really want to get the force awakens ones, but I'm waiting for ac Moore to get them in because they always have 40-50% off coupons. |

Awesome haul. I enjoy the Poe two pack. I'm waiting for my Joker and Superman to arrive through the mail and my hunt for Phasma continues. No store in my area has gotten wave 2 at all yet, so it's not that I've missed it as much as it hasn't shown up.

The transformers are pretty solid. The millenium falcon and star destroyer are especially solid. Now, the directions say that you should fold some of the tabs and twist others. I've found that twisting all of them makes the connections a lot tighter. You should also look ahead in the directions so that you know which parts are going where and how they're going to fit together. You don't get to make very many mistakes. The more times you fold the perforated edges, the more likely you are to break the piece. Also, I'd recommend getting a good pair of tweezers, a small pair of pliers, and especially a set of flat jewelry cutters. The jewelry snippers will make it A LOT easier to remove the pieces from the sheets. Oh, and I think the most difficult thing to do is making cylindrical pieces..so, it helps to have a pencil, or something small and cylindrical to bend those pieces around. I got a kick out of watching the special features and cut scene of Robin in that movie (without nipples on his suit). That would have been great (without nipples) for me as I was 5 when that movie came out.

It really was. It was something I actually did not have in my BD collection, so I was happy to have it. The cape on mine fell off rather easily (I'm not sure if it was intended to,) but the cowl holds it on nicely without any glue, and he didn't have any of the legacy issues that I read about as far as broken joints or pieces. Keaton has always been my favorite Batman thus far, so I'm stoked to place him on my shelf with my loose Predators!
