I had to get that Leia because now I know it's going for 100 plus bucks on eBay due to the controversy. I used to see 6 or 7 of her at a time peg warming. Now, this one was hiding underneath some Halloween clearance merchandise and it was the only one.

This piece of crap (seriously it's not very good) was going for $14 prime on Amazon a month ago, now it's almost $50 because of the attention! This has to be one of the most surprising cases of a weak toy gaining sudden value. Suddenly people are going to be selling the cross-eyed ones as variants even though they accounted for like 70% of those I saw. I still have the original POTF toy (the very first toy of this look) MOC, is it going to challenge the vinyl caped Jawas now?!

Oh, glad you kept it MOC! And yes...I agree with you 100%. I mean, this figure was one of the worst peg-warming figs I've ever seen and look at it now.

That reminds me of the Black Series Darth Maul. I bought that thing for 12 bucks on Amazon, and now it's like $100 plus.

Yes but the controversy or the "attention" like Sabah said helped this figure become popular all of the sudden.

Oh wow, that's some serious peg-warming, lol.

I got these on my porch today (of course the mail-person didn't knock or ring the bell as usual) and I think they may be two of my favorites in all of my collection now. Two gems for sure. Neither had any bad paint (though Superman does have a single small blue spot on his neck) and no accessories were warped or broken. I decided to use a hairdryer on both figures to get 'em cooperative since they were left to sit out in chilly low 60 degree weather for however long this morning and I didn't want to chance anything breaking. Christopher Reeve is Superman to me and Heath Ledger is easily my favorite live-action Joker so these are two beyond awesome figures to me. NECA totally blew my freakin' mind when they announced these and the in-hand results definitely deliver.

Available at some TRU locations (but not all apparently since mine isn't getting any and not online for TRU) and online through Warner Bros eBay store, goHastings.com also listed the Adam West Batman (still in stock last I checked) and Chris Reeve Superman (sold out or not really in yet) but hasn't put up Joker yet that I saw. On eBay I actually can't find the official ones from Warner Bros' store anymore, so getting lucky and finding them in person might be your best option. Don't pay scalper prices, I'd say $30 should be the cap on either because that's what I payed for each figure from their official eBay store but I also got both of the DVDs whereas some scalpers are charging $45 plus just for Joker with no DVD.

Aw man, I saw NECA's logo on the bottom and initially thought that they were some new, unpublicized NECA DC figures in the same scale as the new Christopher Reeve Superman & Heath Ledger Joker !

I'm SOOO glad that Underground Toys' Doctor Who figures have finally become easier to find in my area ! My paltry collection definitely needs some new additions !
