It makes me saddened to say that this was the third Generations Blitzwing I've owned. The head/spring 'mechanism' worked just fine on this one and I just bent the turret panel/shoulders with some unrelenting force to get them to tab in decently (no damage!). Lined his loose right leg pin with super glue. Painted the 'guards' on the sides of his G1 face (no more balloon cheeks). And added a little 1/144 pilot to the otherwise useless opening cockpit. For those of you still looking to pick up Blitz, just make sure you inspect the shoulders (don't buy it if none of them are tabbed in while in-package) and if the head looks cock-eyed, pass on it. I'm sure more will turn up on your hunts.

Got a ML Bucky Cap with sadly really soft gummy left leg joint. Tried using hot water and putting it in the freezer, didn't work. And it's the only one I saw in any of the Walmarts and Targets near me so I'm gonna have to call Hasbro to see if I can get a replacement........ and the eyes are horribly painted too.

Another arrival for me. Just so you guys know I was not happy with this cuz it cost me $40US in trade. I wanted the Redpool too but it was gonna cost me $100 USD in trade... wth is wrong with distribution that these new variants can barely be found.

Yeah it's nuts. I had to bit the bullet on this, it was a bit easier since I traded. But still, paid almost as much for this as my Mafex batman. ugh..

Got these last night on a run to Target. Hopefully, these and Springer can tide me over until I can find Blitzwing, Abominus (as well as the single pack releases of Rippersnapper, "Windrazor" and "Blight") and wave 3 of BH deluxes.

It is my understanding that they are running changes, not variants. So eventually they'll be easy to find (assuming ample distribution and the willingness of retailers to carry ML).

Umm... OKAY, so I guess you've found Pile Driver/Thunderball, Daken/Masked Wolvie, Mdm Masque/Mdm Hydra, FF Spidey/BT Spidey, Punisher/Blade, Mystique/Dani Moonstar, FF Doom, Redpool and so on easily. A variant by any other name is a variant the same. I'm not sure which part of the world you live in but I live in the real world where not all (if any) of these are as easily found as you make it sound. And I'm next door to the factories in Hong Kong. The so called running changes only get made and shipped when there are refill orders. Meaning if there is no refill orders there are no r.c. released. So if WM or Target sells these well and re-orders 10 more cases in total there are only 10 more r.c. in total. They are still variants - as far as I know no retailer has re-ordered in quantities close to even their original orders. So what does that mean? It means that these are rarer than the original figures. If WM and Target re-orders then. But if K-Mart, TRU etc... don't sell well and don't re-order no r.c will get shipped. So no, in my world these are not readily found.

I don't even collect these and have seen the running changes of the last 2/3 waves. shoot I even bought the daken/unmasked and both mdm for trade bait...

Agreed! The only ML's that I see peg warming is Hope, Drax and the occasional Iron Man and that's mostly from wave 1.

I had this package waiting for me today from the post office. These all came from my recent trade with a user on another forum. Be warned, this post is pic heavy.

DC Comics Unlimited New 52 Flash

NECA 25th Anniversary Jungle Hunter Predator. The card’s a bit torn but that’s no big deal as I planned on opening him to review.

I also got these three pre-opened DC figures:

Superman. This figure looks a bit like Christopher Reeve.

Batman. I think this figure is from Knightfall.

And last but not least, New 52 Aquaman which I believe is a DC Direct figure.

I also got an extra Walmart Avengers figure stand for my Walmart exclusive Nick Fury figure and a Batman figure stand as well that are unpictured.

All in all, this was a good trade and my biggest one yet.
