So, I have a little story to go with this one, bear with, cause I'm ecstatic!
I haven't had a Slave I set since Jango's first came out. I sold that one, and had resigned myself to not getting a good set of it or the modern Boba Fett minifig. Cut to last year this time, my girlfriend bought me the Desert Skiff with modern Fett. Awesome! The only disappointment was no ship for him. Cut to yesterday, I was bored so I finally decided to build a little fighter for him. Cut to today on a random trip to Toys R Us, and my jaw dropped to find the Slave I set from 2010 sitting on the shelf. I resigned myself to not being able to afford it, and my girlfriend said we could split the cost. I go to scan the price, and it's not the original retail of $80, it's only $45!!! My girlfriend got it for me for my birthday, and I got the hell out of there, as if they were going to take it from me. I guess old sets were showing up, but this is still the COOLEST thing that's ever happened to me in my toy finding

Funny thing I found old MU figs at TRu too .. they from 2009 something that I would have never thought of finding .it was a Marvel universe skrull and a variant at that .. card was a bit beatup .. but I open them anyways .. nice score congrats .. its a great set

As for me, I picked up Kre-O Piranhacon. I will eventually get Abominus and Defensor, but the Seacons were the priority for me (Scramble City + Targetmaster = win). Now to figure out how I'm going to incorporate Seawing from the blind packs into the combined mode. Hopefully Series 4 will have Skalor and the team will be complete (and I can try to recreate their Targetmaster gimmick properly).

Stopped by TRU today for a pair of cheap skullcandy headphones, and when the guy working in the electronics department brings it up to the register, I notice this guy behind the counter all by his lonesome.

I originally wasn't going to pick this one up because I simply refused to pay the outlandish ebay prices out there, and TRU's online service is terrible. However at retail? Sign me up!!!

How much was he? My Tru has this super nice Ultra Magnus import figure for like $70, not much of a transformer collector anymore, but damn nice looking.
