Well while shopping for presents for other people, I couldn't help but pick up these as the price was insanely low;

After a lot of searching, I finally found Prowl! And he was worth the wait. I had been tempted to snag this Bulkhead, since he is definitely one of my favorite Autobots, but I hated this fugly design (can I say "fugly" here, lol ?) and kept passing on him.
Since he was basically free, I can get past the problems I have with his Beast Hunter re-design.
Oh yeah, I nearly forgot: these 2-packs are only 9.96 at Wal-Mart !!!

No, none of the ones I mentioned by name in that post have been confirmed for release. Just a wish list of sorts.

I always thought they said "booty traps" when they mispronounced the phrase. Kinda fit in with the whole "pirate" angle, but it could have just been my mind making up for my bad hearing.

Congrats! I actually posted about them in the "Look what I just passed up" thread last week. Definitely a great way to get Prowl, if you don't already have his pack-mate.

i wish they'd do it more often.. but they have done it a few times.. usually new stuff is shown during toyfair's, botcon, or SDCC.

also.. i believe the news that came along with the photo of ratrap was that this was a preview to the next wave of generations figures. a couple weeks ago or so, his name showed up on a listing in walmart computers.. so it was known that he was getting released before the photo came out.

just.. why.. lol how big is your collection? i imagine it's HUGE.. do you watch all of them.. or do you just like to have them? do you display them? or do you treat them like dvd's and just have them like stacked or on a bookshelf?

oh joy.. more crappy figures.. i'm fine with hasbro doing this crap.. just as long as there is something for adults as well. like the 6" figures.. but the problem has been that there aren't very many 6" figures released.. take iron man.. there are only two figures from the movie out of two waves.. the first wave (in my area) sold so poorly that it took just about til when the dvd was released for wave two to hit shelves.. and the TRU stores in my area JUST stocked wave 2 last week. and out of ALL OF THE ARMORS in the movie, hasbro only gave us two of them.. we still haven't gotten the mandarin and there hasn't been any mention of the real villain at all.

the first spider man wasn't bad.. there were like two movie spider man figures and the lizard.. so that's not bad, but had there been more characters that warranted a toy.. i'm sure they would've failed.

with thor.. the only 6"+ figures are the marvel select figures.. which you can only get online or comic shops.

i love what they're doing with star wars.. i just wish they were able to pump out 6" figures the way they pump out 3.75" figures.

anyways.. i really wish they'd focus more on the movie characters in all of these lines.. for the most part it seems like they use movie lines to simply rehash older designs that don't sell very well because everyone already has figures that are similar.

When I'm done watching a batch, I get on eBay and get another. I definitely watch them. This is my latest batch, just in time for Christmas Vacation. I'll probably finish watching these 21 by the end of Christmas week.
I collect them. I had my first hundred in those plastic milk crates, but now I'm trying to figure out how to get to IKEA to get that unit to keep them in a unified location in my living room, because they are in my hall on the shelf, in those crates, and in the old Office...i HATE not having them in an alphabetical continuum.
But, I do have my entire collection of 447(soon 468) cataloged here:
LaserDisc Database - Collection > All > By Title
sans these 21.

Lol, be nice - Exodus is only a newsie for Toyark, not our entire network. We don't track TF news for this site because our sister site, TFW2005.com handles all TF-related stuff.

Quote:

Same here. But if they do all the reveals in the club magazine, there'd be nothing left to show at those Cons. Gotta save some stuff for the casual fans and general public.

Yes, I know. That is also the reason I try to squelch any rumors that Rattrap and the others are somehow TFCC exclusives before those same rumors gain any further traction in the community. Hence talking about it here.

Oh, and my haul for the week:
MU Omega Red and Kre-O G.I.Joe B.A.T.

Lot of things found today at Target, and on sale. BOGO 50% off on SW black 3 3/4 figures and 3 3/4 Marvel Universe, 9$ Monster High: Power Ghouls and saw a whole case of new TF: Generations. Bought Skids and Waspinator.

Picked up some blu ray Blade and classic Dolph, 1990 style. Dark Angel was known in the states as "I Come In Peace"

Also found these Kelloggs Cereal bowls at K-Mart. They are supposed to be one of them free when you buy 2 boxes of cereal, but I scanned one in store and it rung up at 0.25 cents each. so I bought 2 whole sets for 2.00$ They are for the 2014 Olympics
