A local independent toy store had them here, but other than those two figures, I didn't see anything else new or worth noting from that wave. |

Cap with no shield?!? Jesus, they might as well put out wingless Falcon, Hawkeye without a bow, and professor X without a chair!

If you head over to Google and run a simple search, the Captain America I was mentioning is called "Shield Blitz Captain America." While the packaging makes the figure look as if he comes with a shield, it's actually a gimmick shield that is part of the humungous launcher weapon he comes with. The figure itself is really nicely sculpted and painted, looks better in person, and the head sculpt is much more proportioned to his body than the original CA:TFA figures. I would have picked him and Falcon up despite the gimmick weapon though. The reason I chose not to was because the local indy toy store that was carrying him was charging 25 bucks a piece for both figures, and there is no way I'm going to pay that much for a figure that no doubt will be warming pegs in a month or two from now at more than half that price... |

Checked out a couple of other Dollar Generals and found the other Snake Eyes that I had hoped to find !
![]() Like I said a couple of days ago, I'm pleasantly surprised at how cool these Dollar General Joes are ! Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow (who I am still lacking) are cool homages/updates of older figures, and Shipwreck is a cleverly modernized reinterpretation of a fan-favorite character! And they're only $6 each ![]() Last edited by Frank Richards; 04-02-2014 at 09:18 PM.. |

I agree with you on the Dollar General Joes. The figures are good quality and the sculpting on them is great. I love them all but my favorite is the Cobra Commander. I love any figure of him that features his hood.

![]() Been a while since I had anything to post! Finally got a shipment in though, and I've been looking forward to getting these for a while. I also finally got around to opening the Walking Dead Maggie from one of my last posts, 'cause I finally made space for her in my WD display. Can anyone spot her (kind of) recreating a scene from season 3 in the middle of this chaos? ![]() |

I was scared when I ordered it but found out that some figures just do not translate well in photos, this is one of them. Pictures do not do it justice. Only problems I have with it come from the articulation needed for the bike, understandable but a little annoying. Also, McFarlane brittle motorbike pieces- the brake cable was torn off of the handlebar. Other than that PERFECT!

Some follow-up pics to my recent haul.
![]() I was too terrified to move Firefly's legs at the hip because of the breakage stories I've heard, but I think his current pose is good enough. ![]() Anybody notice anything wrong with my Deathstroke? It wasn't obvious in the package, so I didn't notice until I took him out - but I'm pretty pissed about it. He's missing the armor that goes between his neck and his left shoulder. There's just a giant hole there where it should have been plugged in. |

![]() My TRU received quite a few cases this week, but between the time they were put on the shelves Monday morning, and the time I swung by there in the afternoon, a scalper (or possibly an employee) snagged all of the Stormtroopers, leaving plenty of Obi-Wans, Hans, a Bespin Luke (which I grabbed), and the requisite Leias and Greedos. I've given up on the Targets here getting these in, since they still have FAR too many Leias and Greedos. If I have any luck on my shopping trip tomorrow, and find more than one, I'll let you know. These guys may end up being harder to find than Boba Fett

Thank you so much. Yup every TRU I walk into no stromtroppers. I worked said one guy waits every morning before they open and took them. Target is full of greedy And leia. I mean I've been lucky at target but still no wave 3 |

FYI - In case you didn't know there has been a restock of Retaliation Figures at TRU's in the last few days...Unfortunately I missed out on the Night Viper (The only on that has eluded me), but I did pick up a Lady Jaye today for fodder! I have actually been looking for this and found it today, this Stormtrooper IS better than the Black Series 3.75" one I got a few days ago as far as the sculpt goes...
