I hear you there on Optimus. I just wish that Hasbro wouldn't have went so cheap on him. His alt mode is simply bad ass, but the lack of paints really shows in his robot mode. I kinda consider this figure to be an homage to the original, but instead of swinging for the fences on a 3-0 pitch, Hasbro opted to take the base on balls.

At least you don't have to transform and deal with those ridiculous horns on Voyager Grimlock, and can keep them flat on his Carnotaurus mode. When you stick them up, he ends up looks like some kind of wierd, tiger-striped, two legged chihuahua. With all the Hasbro bashing that people do, kudos to them for at least giving us that option. ![]() As for Optimus. I am a bit surprised they didn't make the biceps red to match it to the G1 homage, but maybe that'll happen in a later on re-release with the face plate head. I'm undecided on it for right now, though it does look incredibly amazing in person. |

Went to the Motor City Comic con today! Sadly Mark Waid wasn't there at the time and the line for Jason David Frank (Tommy from Power Rangers) was preposterous. But the main thing is, I got some cool toys! DC Universe Classics Guardian, Martian Manhunter, Mantis, Firestorm, Mister Miracle, and a Movie Green Goblin with removable mask!

After over a year of searching stores everywhere...I finally found the MU Daredevil/Bullseye two pack, along with ML: Thor, at Ross of all places. There was no way I was gonna miss them again.

![]() Hit Target on the way home from Ross, and came across this guy. I wasn't intending on getting him originally, as I didn't really care much for the Sandtrooper figure, but after seeing him in person, there was no way I could pass him up. The details on him are just too sick. I wish Hasbro put this much detail into all of their figures. ![]()

Howdy Folks - here's a blast from the past! What I mean is that I have only just got back into the collecting scene, so some of my stuff may seem a little 'old' to you! (No - I wasn't banged up - I just got really pissed off with the eBay/PayPal monopoly.)

Anyways, I have some cool stuff to share, so I'll start with my Action Masters prototypes! (Moderator - if I am posting in the wrong place feel free to move the post - but please let me know where you move it to!) So, here you go, a few prototypes - I think they are called 'Rotodynes', but I don't really understand how it works. They sculpt the figures much larger than the actual released figure is intended to be (I believe they are called 2-ups), but I don't know how they end up with the production piece. UM! I don't appear to be allowewd to attach files - sorry! |

Picked up the next two in these Monster 500 series. My son got a couple of blind bags. Itchy and Bulk from Power Rangers Mega Bloks. That one was on sale for 1.25 at TRU. Not bad at all, might even go back and get some more for him this week

Finally got the body I needed to finish my 1/6th scale Leon S. Kennedy! But I, uh... forgot to take a picture before I assembled him. So sue me! I was excited... Everything else in the photo are also recent "gets" though. Went and got the base and decal sheets today.

I picked up Construct-Bots Grimlock and Dino Rider Lockdown. I'm rather impressed at how big Grimmy is, even though he came in an Elite box. The chomping gimmick seems to work a lot better on this one than the regular voyager and leader class toys (at least based on what I've seen in YT reviews). Great buy, all around.

Lockdown is surprisingly articulated for such a small figure. I like his headsculpt with his facial scar. His alt mode looks like a chibi DeLorean - in a cute G1 Minibot sort of way. But still evil. Yeah, totally evil. >.>

![]() Only grabbed one. Not a huge fan of the suit. If the articulation is good I'll buy more later. I always like leaving stuff behind for other kids and people. I hate when people hide stuff for no reason.
