Picked up the Jayne w/hat figure from LCS and got the 66 Batgirl from TRU online in the mail yesterday. I am done with the 66 Batman stuff (again) unless they make a new figure again a year after the last figure(surfing Joker).
![]() Also, this was still left at my local Hastings a week after SDCC. 4 Pred, 2 endo, 1 Rambo, and 2 each of the Pac Rim Chibi and Apes figures. Only thing that sold out was Pamela and Jason set. ![]() Last edited by Phantomcrow; 07-17-2015 at 09:21 PM.. |

Maybe something to do with that ebay logo under his name..
;o) REALLY like the retro TV Batgirl... Really wanted to collect that series but that price point was a lil high. ..

Just curious...have you opened the two pack? The Superman actually looks better in your pics than it did in the promo shot Mattel gave us. Is it the same way with Batman?
I might end up picking up that Movie Masterpiece Batman when the regular line releases, but I'm definitely repainting those eyes if they have pupils. I think that's the thing that's been throwing off that figure for me. Quote:
And honestly...as weird as his collecting habits seems, we all have weird habits when it comes to the things we collect. I used to collect every single Rogue figure put out there (no matter how disastrously ugly they were) as well as Super Hero Squads, and now I pour most of my disposable income into literally nothing more than repaints (damn you NECA Predators!!!...Why can't I quit you!?!) Why ask why? We all have no further to look than ourselves. =) |

Public Enemy number one !
Show 'em whatcha got ! I recently discovered that Funko, a while ago, had released POP vinyls of a few hip-hop icons, most notably, Tupac and Biggie. However, I was shocked to see how much they're selling for these days. Tupac and Biggie often sell for over $100 each, and Rev. Run and DMC both sell for pretty high prices too. Luckily, Chuck D can still be found for a reasonable price, but mind-boggingly, Flavor Flav sells for a LOT more than Chuck D ( ![]() ![]() I never saw the Anakin & Clone Trooper wave in my area (but spotted a lone Anakin at an out-of-state Target), and only saw evidence on one occasion that the Bossk wave may have possibly shown up here, although I never actually saw Bossk. I prefer finding my Black figures in the wild, and I've had good luck so far, but for these guys, I had to resort to Amazon. ![]() And, here are a couple of packs of Bandai's exceptional figure stands. ![]()

I think that's the thing that's been throwing off that figure for me. I know that I'm the last person that needs to "white knight" for Raf, but for those that don't know, Raf usually buys multiples of everything because he likes to open things and keep them in the boxes (I used to be that way...but it got too expensive,) and as he also said, likes to hook up family and friends in both his personal life, and here on the Ark. I've seen this guy hook people on the board up with items costing hundreds of dollars while asking nothing in return, and paying it forward like that is really damn cool in my book. And honestly...as weird as his collecting habits seems, we all have weird habits when it comes to the things we collect. Thank you very much for your kind words, it means a lot to me! A lot of Arkers here question me all the time and that's all good, I get it. For the few ones that know me, like Trivial, know the way I am and that's all that matters to me because they know I'm always here for them.

Kidrobot did a vinyl figure of Snoop Dogg, and it looks amazing. It's done in the same style as their various blind box figures, but he's in a much larger scale. He's kinda pricey, but still in a reasonable price range, so hopefully, I'll be posting pics of that figure in this thread in the near future.

My Prime Day Tauntaun set came in today as well as the Leia Boushh I also ordered from Amazon. Sorry for this blurry pic.
![]() I like the Tauntaun pack a good deal, though I don't know that I'd recommend paying full price for it. Han's jacket is blue and that's okay, sitting him onto the Tauntaun can be kinda troubling, and he can't really use the binoculars. On the good side of things he has great pose and looks pretty nice when mounted on his reptilian steed/sleeping bag. Leia in Boushh disguise is good and I'm glad to have it but the helmet seems almost too snug (alright though since I'm displaying her with it on anyway) and I don't know how much I care for the blue-ish color they used for her staff weapon. The face looks a lot more like Carrie Fisher than the first Black Series Leia, but this one is too tall technically, same great articulation as any Black Series figure and good paint too though so it's still a figure I'd recommend. ![]()

So far, as far as the 6inch Black Series figures, there's been a bunch of bounty hunters released thus far. Boba Fett, Greedo, Prototype (white armor) Boba Fett, IG88, and Bossk. Jango Fett is also on the horizon. I'd love to see 4-Lom and Zuckuss, as well as Dengar, but with as slow as these figures come out, and as small as the waves are (with at least two figures seemingly dedicated to either stormtroopers, Luke Bumblebee or Bumblebee Solo), and a new movie on the horizon, barring an SDCC or NYTF set, I doubt we will see them anytime soon.

True...I completely forgot about Boushh. He/she must have been quite the hunter, because even Fett watched him with a cautious eye when Leia first approached Jabba disguised as the hunter. Good call.

I always thought that Fett was more impressed with them bringing Chewbacca in rather than whoever they themselves were, regardless it's a cool looking disguise.

Left: UKbay Right: Chinabay Right now Chinabay is bloated with Kidpool and Dogpool, but no trace of a Lady Deadpool or Champool. I hope we see those too somedays.

Went to TRU today and was totally shocked by what I found. NECA's SDCC Ambush Predator! This was the last one they had and it was hidden behind some other boxes, I almost yelled in the store. I also picked up the Anchorage Attack Gipsy Danger because Joe's gallery of the TRU exclusive Anteverse GD really made me want a GD v2.
