Hey guys!

I'm new to these forums, although I have hung around the TFW2005 forums for a little while, so I'm sure some of those people are also here (good to see you again ^_^)- and here are some of my newest figures that I'm eagerly awaiting to arrive at my door:

1) Soul of Chogokin GX-71 Golion/Voltron
2) SH Figuarts Mark 3 Iron Man
3) SH Figuarts Active Raid's Strike Interceptor
4) Figure-Rise Super Saiyan 4 Goku
5) Sentinel's Riobot Line: Detonator Orgun
6) SIC (Super Imaginative Chogokin) Kamen Rider Drive- Type Speed
7) Planet-X's Jupiter (WFC Optimus Prime)

The SOC Voltron and SHF Mark 3 Iron Man I already have- and I can honestly say: Flawless.

As for the SHF Strike Interceptor, Figure-rise SSJ4 Goku, Sentinel's Riobot Detonator Orgun, SIC Kamen Rider Drive, and Planet-X's Jupiter: I've bought products from all those lines/companies before, and their work only gets better with every release, so I'm not expecting any hick-ups or disappointments- they should all be great. ^_^

I finally found the Walgreens 3PO by going out of my way and checking one of the oldest Walgreens in my area, they had six. The hips are looser than the red-armed version but hey it's classic C-3PO so all he does is stand or occasionally sit. Then I went to check a new-ish comic shop and to my surprise found a series 1 orange pauldron Sandtrooper for only $30 so I picked that up, finally I went to my ol' local comic shop which had recently expanded their store and decided to pick up TNBA Poison Ivy. Ivy's expression could have been much better since it's practically blank but really her accessory department sucks since it's just three chemistry items that she can't even properly hold with her tiny hands. Not even a freaking potted plant (I'm pretty sure she had one at one point or another on the cartoon).

This arrived today:

It's cool but Amazon didn't ship it with any padding so the upper corners have been smushed, which has also bent the first 80 pages and last 50 pages to the comics themselves. Worse of all, Amazon can't exchange it for me, I can only return it for a refund.

That's crummy about the bending. One time I ordered an art book off of amazon and when it arrived with the one corner bent they seriously just sent me a second copy for free as consolation, I thought it was a bit generous on their end especially given the stories of how they "handle" their employees.

For a company that started out mostly as book sellers, they sure don't know anything about packaging or shipping books. I have a bunch of trades and graphic novels that are dinged up and have creases on the corners. I'd rather pay a little bit more and just get stuff from my LCS but my folks buy books for me directly from my Amazon wish list for birthdays and X-Mas. It's a shame when you get a book that looks like it got dragged behind a truck.

Yeah, but Amazon's price was $43 while my LCS ws $100. BIG difference there.

Also, my comic shop rarely gets in Omnibuses unless you special order them. If you speical order them, they don't give you any discount. If you happen to come across it on the shelf, it's 20% off.

I think it all depends on which support guy in India happens to answer your email. One time, my order just got stuck in "preparing to ship" for more than a week. When I contacted customer support, the guy pretty much just said "pay for express shipping next time". So I replied and basically said "thanks for the tips, but that does not help me with THIS order now, does it?", the next guy that answered the email apologized and put my order to ship next day.

A friend was getting rid of his collection, he let me go through everything he planned to get rid of and insisted I take whatever I want. Here are some of the gems that I was most excited about, but this isn't even half of everything
