I needed to pick up some groceries after work tonight, so I went to an out of the way Kroger, since I've occasionally lucked into some hard-to-find Star Wars figures there, hoping that I might have a little more Force Friday luck.

I was shocked to see that they had Lando, Qui-Gon, a Tusken Raider, and an Imperial Royal Guard !

I have no interest in Qui-Gon or the Tusken Raider, and I already have Lando, but I was thrilled to add a second IRG to my collection. The one that I have now just looks so lonely guarding the Emperor by himself

Force Friday has bled into look what I found lying around Sat. I found at Walmart in Manassas the Star Wars Black series 3.75 Luke Jedi Master, Praetorian Guard and Stormtrooper Executioner this morning. Articulation is amazing on these figures. They need stands and more accessories. Rang up at $11.92.

I found two at once but one went to my brother so now we each just have the one. Thankfully I don't display my figures like any kind of diorama so just one guard isn't bad. I don't even have an Emperor for the guard to be around Really hoping Hasbro does like an Emperor v2 because the first one never showed up in my area and it seeing it online turned me off of the figure.

Picked these two up tonight at the local collectables store.

I was really hoping Neca would make these two particular variants of Ripley and Vasquez, and I have to say I'm very pleased with how both of them turned out. The quality is solid on both. Clean paint apps, and no stuck or overly loose joints. Oddly enough, the only issue I had was that Vasquez's right leg had not been attached to the hip joint all the way. Easily fixed by heating the leg with a hairdryer, popping it off and then popping it back on all the way. What's crazy is that this is the same leg that my first Vasquez had an issue where the hip joint was stuck and would not move forward or backward until many months later it freed itself at random.

These guys are cool but McFarlane legos suck. their feet just fall off and a lot of the plastic is warped. But they both came with a surprise...



Plumbus!!! I didn't know each set came with one. Of course everyone already has one but you can ALWAYS use another.

I am digging these guys, they do remind me of food fighters and if you get them in the store they are only like $5.



Finally got some awesome rifles for BW. Seeing pictures of a scene that was cut from age of ultron where BW was wielding dual ARs had me searching for something decent for a while. Gamestop happened to have these on clearance.



Rey would be awesome if you could move her head anywhere. Luckily I got to check a few of her and Luke to avoid the Luke droopey eye issue. I saw one and it was really bad.





Everywhere I looked today was picked over, nobody seemed to have more than a few cases of black series. I heard many a fan grumble today about not going out at midnight.
Never did see any of the black series executioner troopers, would have liked one of those.

Kind of a funny pick up this week as I never planned on getting the Mattel Ghostbusters set when I first saw them at Toys R Us. Granted, that's when they when$30 a pop, but when I saw them at my local Dollar store for $4 I could not resist. Ray and Peter were the first finds and needed to search a bit for Egon and Winston. As an added bonus I was able to round out the set with Ecto 1 And Ecto 2. I really hope that in the future there will be more of these types of figures show up at the Dollar Store as it's a crazy good value. Lastly I had to pick up another Captain America for the final missing Onslaught BAF piece; I really hate having to buy it again, but I'll just display him with the wolf head.

I wish DC would choose an Omnibus style that matches the other Omnibuses though. At least on the spines. Marvel's are all uniformed while DC's look like they were Frankensteined together.
