Picked up Elektra a couple weeks ago @ a LCS in Atlanta, GA while traveling through the area. Nice shop with tons of comic merch. They had the entire SP//dr wave, but I only had enough for one at the time. I think I chose wisely.

Yeah, both are great. I played through Mario World on the SNES, most of Mega Man 2 on the NES, and then spent some time with Monster in my Pocket.

The SNES Classic is worth it alone for Earthbound and Secret of Mana. Super Metroid, Link to the Past, those were all just a very nice bonus.
Glad you fellas liked the photo, thanks. I don't know how to describe Elsa Bloodstone to those who have never seen her without sounding like a wiki entry, and there really isn't another character that makes a good frame of reference. She's a buxom British redhead monster-hunting prodigy with a foul mouth and somewhat surly disposition. She's pretty much the best, everything she says in Nextwave is amazing. She's what Buffy the Vampire Slayer would be if Buffy ever had an arsenal of guns and was less lame and on HBO instead of whatever dull-ass channel she was on in those days. The WB, I think? |

Kinda? If Van Helsing was modern and had any personality at all. The gem she wears afforded her father a ten thousand year lifespan, so she has abilities beyond normal human monster hunters. Given her supernatural talents and knowledge on hunting most vicious predators, she's closer to a Witcher from the books/games of that title than she is to Van Helsing.
Her dad was doing the same sort of stuff in books during the 70's, but I've never read anything with him in it. |

I love being able to add all of the games I used to own or still own on to them as I can finally play them again.

So Gamestop has started getting in all my Preorders. Got Cloak and Dagger and the 90's Flash in this week. The X-men Legends and Venom Legends are both due next week. And I reserved the new Deadpool Legends today. I also snagged an Extra Cyclops Legends from those odd shippers the Wal Marts are getting. A friend also grabbed a Cyke and Colossus he had been wanting for a year now at non ebay prices.
Untitled by Phantomcrow, on Flickr Found some of the X-men Legends at Target and pulled the trigger for no real reason. I had them all pre ordered at Gamestop, but they looked so good I did not wait. Untitled by Phantomcrow, on Flickr |
