				 | Found '86 Grimlock at Walmart last night. He's a classic G1 wide-boy. Really the only thing I'm mechanically disappointed with is the pretty lazy and tacked on way to "store" his blaster in dino mode, other than that I think he's basically perfect for a non-masterpiece figure. I know some people will be sour that he doesn't have his sword but this is based on the cartoon where he barely had it (if ever) and he outright never has it in the movie. Wheelie is included but for as articulated as he is he's missing knee hinges that would have greatly added to what you can actually do with him. On the other hand, he makes a great snack for Gnaw.

Yeah, I think my problem with Wheelie is the same problem I have with Jar Jar Binks. They're both these annoying characters that seem designed to appeal to children despite the fact that these licenses were already very appealing to children.

I could not believe they did not put bending knees on Wheelie, such a simple thing to do to add so much to a figure.

Got this guy in today and preordered ultimate warrior from ringside collectibles. Was starting to feel like I might not be able to get him so thankful that RSC is going to be carrying the Target exclusive Royal Rumble wave. |
