Either way I was always planning on picking Mayfeld up because it is a toy of Bill Burr and the novelty of that brings me great joy.
I bought one just to have a Bill Burr head (which I put on a spare Classified Breaker body). I was 100% shocked at how terrible the rest of the figure is. It was my first time handling a Black Series figure. The plastic felt so thin and flimsy. When I bent the elbows, big white stress marks showed up on the backside of the arm. The ankles are pure shite, too. Honestly, I figured it would feel and "act" like a Classified figure.

I find it hilarious that of the millions of toys you have, it's your first time handling a Black Series figure! Ha ha. Yeah, they're pretty cheap quality wise, I think it has to do with Hasbro figuring that most people that buy Star Wars toys are the kind that keep them in package anyway. Classified figures are a lot more sturdy and playable quality wise.

Classified is the only Hasbro line I've handled in over 30 years.

WOW! Then you'd be pretty disappointed with Marvel Legends too. They like to use the cheap limpy plastics too. I know you collect a lot of vintage toys, from your collection pics, it's true what they say: "They don't make them like they used to!"

The most vintage I have is old McFarlane and DC Direct stuff. But, yeah, they certainly don't.
In most cases, I judge toys by how they feel in hand. That's why I could never get into DCUC. Compared to DC Direct, they felt cheap and hollow. But, I'm sure they'd feel like a dream next to that Black Series turd.

See, I don't like my figures breaking just because I sneezed. I prefer the way Hasbro does it because they have some flexibility to them compared to a $90 Final Fantasy figure where if something were to fall on it from a higher shelf, it's not going to break its staff.

That I agree with. It also helps that the soft plastic hands often has some flexibility to hold various items. What I don't like, however is when they use that on weapons. The Ragnarok BAF Hulk is famous for having limpy weapons that'd just droop over time. Several of my female figures also have warping lower legs because those soft plastic just couldn't withstand the weight over time.

Yeah, I hate it on weapons, but I guess that's a saftey child thing.

As for the female legs, the pinless joints seemed to have fixed that issue. It's just a shame not every female character has them.

I gave up waiting on a preorder for this set, it had been at least 5 months, so I finally broke down and cancelled it, and got one through Amazon. Better late than never I suppose.

I found the Buzzworthy redo of Kup at Target the other day. I passed on the initial SS86 Kup because I really didn't care for how they handled his windshield and with this release I'm glad I held out. I'm still not super happy with his face sculpt but overall this is a solid release. A bit of the last stretch of turning him into the truck mode devolves into fidgeting things until it's all in place but once done he is a nice little future/Cybertronian truck.

My kids and I stopped into Dorkside's physical store today. That was fun! My 14yr-old was looking for a Riddler Funko Pop (which he found), and I picked up these few trinkets for me. Finding Lobot was a pleasant surprise.
