Got the 3.75" Fornite Bear pickup truck and the 3.75" lights and sounds new Batmobile for 10 bucks and 17 bucks on clearance at Target. I figure those prices will be cheaper than how much they would cost when they eventually hit ROSS.

Might share pics later but I stumbled upon the Mattel Hammond Collection T-Rex at Target and was impressed enough to impulse buy one. In her "natural" stance she's around 2 feet long and somewhere between 9 and 10 inches tall, so it's a pretty good size and well articulated enough for those iconic poses but her ankle hinges aren't the tightest and with certain poses they just buckle and it all comes slumping down. Her feet are disproportionately larger than they should be but it seems like a deliberate (and probably warranted) decision to help her stand.

I don't buy a lot of Transformers since that's a rabbit hole I can't afford to fall down. But that Motormaster and the Stunticons just keep calling to me. I just love the engineering behind the combination.

				 | Not a great pic since I couldn't fit her in the lightbox and while this stool had a nice clear space of wall it also had poor lighting.

Nice T-Rex, I think? Is part of any Jurassic Park line? I have been collecting the “JP” for little while now. Some of dinosaurs are cool looking toys.

Yes, I posted more on it in a previous post (without the pic) but this is the Mattel Hammond Collection T-Rex.

It was found to be enjoyable, dumb fun. The core plot was thin but the silly rom-com aspects worked for me. Christian Bale as Gorr was great but he really needed to be in it more than he was to break into my favorite MCU baddies, I liked him more than Hela and she was pretty good. It is such a silly superhero movie that I understand why there's a good amount of negativity but to each their own. I liked Ragnarok more but L&T was still better than Dark World.

Is the other set worth getting? |

				 | Quote: Yeah my expectations were a bit too high as I really enjoyed ragnarok... one of those movies that gets better every time I watch it. I would have liked more Gorr and more Janr Foster Thor as well. Between the silliness of this and the straight up horror elements of Dr strange 2 I’m still in a bit of shock lol Agreed. Is the other set worth getting?

Is the other set worth getting? I don’t get why people keep using this word when describing doctor strange 2 because when I watched it I didn’t see anything of the sorts and now I’m curious if I missed something. |

				 | Quote: Maybe horror is too strong a word but when I saw it in theaters my son (who is 12) was like “this is like a horror movie” and my coworker said the same and he’s 50. Maybe it was the oil on the face/ Carrie like reference look and she looked super creepy when she snaps the guys neck who always seems to die. |

Well, it was time to upgrade my audio equipment: I'm not completely sold on a soundbar as I was always trained that a full on receiver was superior, but we're sick of tripping over wires all of the time and it's going to be even worse in our new apartment, so I figured let's give it a shot. So far it seems solid. I just watched Halloween Kills with it and tested a few scenes of Godzilla vs Kong. There seems to be a difference in audio quality between the PS5 and regular 4K player though despite them both doing the Dolby Atmos. It's probably just a setting I need to hit on the PS5 though.

I passed on neca's first run of herbert west back in 2018 but at this point i'm feeling like he's just not going to get a standard 7" ultimate release so i finally caved and got the 2022 revision since it was on the shelf. I don't care for the deliberate limitations of the mego-style body but it is a good looking toy in hand and the selection of accessories are fun. The likeness to jeffrey combs is pretty fantastic with this revision's new paint and while the shirt and coat still have that floaty doll-clothes quality (which they are) it's not as bad as the original release. I know what you mean on this. I own a Yanaha full 5.1 surround sound system I got in 2017 (use it for TV / movie in living area) and it's awesome but I did buy a toshiba soundbar that I use for PC in office and its not bad.

Went to Vintage Stock to sell some old stuff in exchange for new stuff and found the Classified Storm Shadow and Cobra Officer grabbed them instantly. Here they are with the rest of my COBRA roster so far I also grabbed Batman The Adventures Continue Season 2 at Vintage Stock then went to B Pop comics down the street and Got GI Joe Reborn the prequel to Reloaded. Now my reading list is coming along well. Anyway here's some Snake Eyes vs. Storm Shadow action. The Storm Shadow is really good, love that his left hand is sculpted to fit an arrow between his index finger and middle finger. |
