Christmas Haul
Comics DCeasesed Invincible Ultimate Collection 5 Spawn Origins 6 Guarding The Globe Under Siege Rom Dire Wraiths Transformers/GI Joe First Strike Toys Mattel DC Movie Masters Faora DC Movie Masters Bane Hasbro Transformers Legacy Scourge GI Joe Classified Steel Corps Two-Pack GI Joe Classified Python Patrol Officer & Copperhead GI Joe Classified Tiger Force Duke & Ram Cycle McFarlane DC Multiverse Black Manta DC Multiverse Batman & Superman (Hush) Respect the past, embrace the future (comparing Rebirth figures to Hush) I think my favorite Superman head sculpt from McFarlane does go to the Hush Superman, it feels the most like the character. I wish the skin tone for the Hush Superman figure wasn't so pale because I would like to give the Rebirth Superman figure a flight hand from that Superman, but the skin tone doesn't match. I guess I'll settle for Rebirth Superman having two fists. It's the inverse of my Mattel Supermen where Rebirth Superman has a flight hand while classic Superman has two fists. Comparing Hush Batman to Three Jokers Batman to Rebirth Batman. I noticed that the Hush Batman's fists have a more armored look while his open hands don't which looks weird if Batman has a mix of the hands. Then when comparing it to the Three Jokers Batman I noticed that the Hush Batman fist is the exact same sculpt. I like that the Three Jokers Batman can wield the Hush Batman's Batarangs. One complaint I have about the Hush Batman and Three Jokers Batman's head sculpts have the necks and heads as the same piece. Meanwhile, the Rebirth Batman's head sculpt is separate from the neck which makes head articulation easier and smoother as opposed to the other two figures. Superman flying above Batman. Comparing classic to modern designs with flight. Overall I like the Hush figures they just have minor flaws. Great haul all around.

I've noticed that. When I started going to Ross locations I saw just how wiped out they were of collectible figures. It's a lot more little kids' stuff they have in the toy area.

Chrimbus haul. Quick thoughts except for the Marvel figures which will be on that thread. NECA Last Ronin Raph feels like a serious accomplishment of translating a comic page into a figure and except for some expected torso limitation from the shell he's well articulated. Never got any of the Foot when they were singles at Gamestop and then never saw the first movie Walmart 2 pack but now I've finally got some thanks to the SotO set. Captain Atom handles great since he's bare of any extra sculpted bits, except that some hinges are non-ideal ratchet joints. Krrsantan can't hold his rifle in a good battle pose but he's a nice figure in every other way and then Huyang is typical droid fare for the line although I'll praise that his backpack arms are also articulated. Christmas Money Haul.
I got Marvel Legends Ant-Man from Quantiumania for $14.99. Holy Crap this is an upgrade from the previous Ant-Man and The Wasp Cull Obsidian wave version. Arms not standing out weird. Helmet isn't huge and shows Scott's eyes Also Got Mandolorian S2 Steelbook Quote:

Comics
GI Joe ARAH #26 & #34 GI Joe Vol. 1 This is the first time I noticed that Vintage Stock does back-issue sales for the comic of the month. Duke #1 GI Joe #13 GI Joe ARAH #1 Hama Cut Aquaman #1 Page Puncher Batman & Robin Adventures #3 I meant to post this image with the Christmas haul Revolutionaries: Crisis Intervention and Power & Glory Toys GI Joe Classified Tiger Force Bazooka Transformers Legacy Galvatron & Optimus Prime (Volvo) Prime Vs. Scourge on their trailers Comparing Legacy to RED figures. I know that these aren't 1 to 1 because Galvatron isn't exactly Megatron, still worth doing. Maybe when I get RED Galvatron I'll do a more apt comparison. |

Still at it. I waited until the new year to ship my “pile of loot” from BBTS.

You got a pic of him? I will admit i was skeptical of s7 stuff but the mumra and cheetara figs were very well done as was my war paint conan. I havent opened my mirror liono or pumra yet due to reorganizing my game room/toy display room/ office. And i find it funny that the three of 5he four tcats figs i have were all mumra.

A few shots of the more than 100 Lego compatible mini figures I've acquired in the last month. Some of my favorites include: Suicide Squad Movie #2 set, a few missing figures to round out my GA JSA, and a myriad of minis I never thought to find. Amanda Waller (and there are mini Starros you can attach to their faces), Peacemaker, Javelin, TDK, King Shark, Harley Quinn, Savant, and more. They go nicely with my Suicide Squad Movie #1 set. Clark Kent Superman, Containment Suit (red and blue) Superman, Blue Beetle, Steppenwolf, 1984 Gold Wonder Woman, Black suit Superman, Blight from Batman Beyond Animated, Guy Gardner, Golden Age Flash, Deathstroke Terminator, Azrael, Shazam, Isis, the Trickster, Cheetah, Vixen, Batman Beyond Inque, and non DC Great Mazinger and Lady Death. Too many to list, but I'm well over 400 minis now. |
