Amazon had the studio series 86 Bumblebee marked down to $16 so I scooped the little fella up. His small stature, while appropriate, was the driving reason behind why I waited for such a sale. The transformation is involved but I wouldn't say it's too complex and I must admit that I like the car mode in hand a lot more than when it was just pictures online. Said car is more penny racer than actual beetle but that was often how he looked in the cartoon. I'd have preferred if he had a friendlier expression but overall I'm quite happy with this figure.

Banpresto Dark Deku statue. I love the look of Dark Deku from MHA Season 6 and I had to get this when announced. The best part is he doesn't have the traditional big black circle stand that takes up a ton of room. He is going Infront of my other Deku statue.

Found the Iron Grenadier at Walmart. Originally I wasn't planning on getting one but seeing it in person changed my mind. The torso hinge on mine is really loose though, it stands straight okay but if I pick it up by the shoulders and lightly sway it then the lower torso and legs swing back and forth. It looks good though and it's cool to have a personal soldier to display with PD Destro.
Got the Gamestop exclusive Duel of the Fates pack. I already had the archive release Darth Maul so this new version is just a list of mild upgrades but it is therefore an overall better Maul. I can just display the archive version in his robes then to have both looks and leave them both out. I never got the first release of padawan Obi Wan so I have no qualms getting a repack of it here. Qui Gon Jinn was actually the main draw of this set for me. I got the first version way back when it first came out but Qui Gon is pretty much my favorite Jedi so I really wanted a face-printed update. The robes are new to both Jedi while Maul's is shared with the retro boxed speeder set. Obi Wan and Maul can remove their robes easily enough but the sleeves on Qui Gon's are only just larger than his sculpted sleeves so it's a tight fit and can be tricky taking off or putting back on.
