My local store apparently closed up sometime in the last month. I had this game, and several others paid off in full. Went to the store today to find it permenantly closed. Went to the other location about 15 minutes away and the staff told me the store closed last month and my preorders were sent to a different store that was nearly a half hour away. They wouldn't honor my preorder at their store.

So we go to the actual store and it's closed despite it being listed as opening at 11am. Apparently, the staff didn't feel like coming in until 1:30, so that is when the store opened. By then, I am pissed and I pick up my game and had them refund me for everything else. Worse, one of the games my wife had paid for came out last month. So there was a game we paid for came out a month ago, but they never called us to tell us the game was instock along with not even communicating with us that the store we go to was shut down. I should NOT have had to play Sherlock Holmes for my games.

The store that was closing should have first called us to make sure transferring the preorders to that store was okay. I don't drive. There are no buses that go out to that store. If my wife didn't drive I would have never been able to get to that store. Nevertheless, this was unacceptable and showed me how Gamestop no longer gives a fuck about their customers. Thus, the company can take their business and shove it up their ass. I'll just preorder my games on Amazon from now on and find a mom and pop game store if we move to Florida later on this year.

Past week or so. Guy Gardner arrived from BBTS, my patience was rewarded and I found the Paz Vizsla on clearance at Walmart, and then a local grocery store had some of the Khonshu wave down to $6 a figure and the rest needed were available for under-retail on Amazon so I finished Khonshu. It is upsetting that Guy's ears are not a match to the tone of his face but it isn't ruining the figure for me either. The expressions are great though.

Nice Masterverse pick ups. You may already know, but be careful with the rubber overlays on Ram Man's legs. They're easy to tear and have even degraded over time on some. Two Bad is one of my personal favorites.

Also there's newer classic style updates to Zodac (Vintage), Beast Man (New Eternia), & Skeletor (Vintage) coming out. I'm guessing He-Man and Faker will get updates too. Ram Man probably will because of those legs. The Vintage line is a WalMart exclusive atm. Mattel Creations also has a few neat exclusives like Vykron & Snout Spout.

Snout Spout, Panthor and the oversized Horde Trooper are supposed to arrive Friday. I'm trying to stick to New Eternia and PoP. Sadly I'm going to have Stratos and Webstor shaped holes in the collection, No way I'm paying those aftermarket prices for them

Yeah, that's mainly what I stick to as well. Orko and a kitbashed armored Man At Arms are the exceptions for me. If I can find the Vintage line I'll grab them.

Stratos is a weird one as there were tons on clearance at Target for $9.99. Probably because it was early in the line. A lot of Masterverse Deluxes were clearanced out like Ram Man, Grizzlor, Beast Man, Hordak, Whiplash, Clawful, Two Bad, King Grayskull, etc.

Webstor had awful distribution and possibly under produced. It's possible he gets a re-release as just recently Faker, Ram Man, & Grizzlor were up for pre-order on BBTS. Somehow they acquired new stock, unsure if it was a new production run or not.

End of February acquisitions. Electro was at a local grocery store, bear blood Feral Predator at Walmart, and then both of the Robot Spirits were pre-orders from BBTS.
I already have the excellent standard Feral ultimate so I wasn't sure if I would ever pick up this version but actually seeing it in hand convinced me. My only nitpick is that I think he still should have included the speargun weapon since it was always on his back, he just didn't start actively using it until later in the movie. The box labels it as "bear blood" but it also reminds me of the scene where he absolutely runs them down in that field and turns that unfortunate guy into a splattered mess.
"This is no Zaku boy! No Zaku!" The Gouf and Guncannon are my favorite mobile suits, and just like the RX-78-2 I got at the start of February these are excellent figures. These both have much rounder limbs than the Gundam so both feature more intricate and impressive sliding panels and layers that conceal joints or preserve key forms during posing.

I should post a picture, because they still have the removable little tags on them. But went to my first toy show in years. Small community show. But i got Defiance Deathstroke DC Multiverse for less than retail. Believe it or not. And, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand Platinum gray Catwoman for less than retail. Both boxed. I was stunned. I had the purple reg version, but wow, that was a catch. And a MEGO 70s batmobile loose but nice for 5.00. Great Great weekend so far.

Buyer beware. There seems to be a pretty significant number of these Dios that have a couple of production defects. This is my second one, I exchanged the first one, but this one has the same defects. The ports for the support struts under the top level don't line up, so the struts can't be installed unless you redrill the holes yourself. This was not a cheap piece, and for the cost, you should not have to do that kind of work. The second issue is the mountings for the backdrop don't line up, so there's not really any way attached it, you'd just have to slide it behind the piece and hope for the best. This is the first and probably last thing I'll buy from NECA. The QC and CS are atrocious
