My TRU had the new Planet of the Apes figures and they looked incredible, but at $22 each, along with NECA's irritatingly inconsistent QC, I think I may have to pass on those and use the money on a couple of the classic PotA characters when they are released.
But wow, they really did look great ...

My TRU also had Marvel Universe Cloak, Dagger, Abomination, and A-Bomb. It was the first time I had seen Dagger or A-Bomb anywhere around here.
I typically don't collect MU figures, but I often have good luck finding them. Hopefully, this trend will continue and I can snag a Death's Head to pose with my Transformers

Saw this box at TRU, I think it was 90 bucks. I wouldn't pay that much, but thought it was cool :

didn't take any pictures but my disney store had a whole wall of the three packs(no x-force or uncanny x-men tho) and the comic packs. I was tempted to buy the daredevil one(first time I've seen it in store) but ehh I'm content with my old DD. not really a big fan of him anyway.

New TRU Monster High Zombie Shake (School Prom) Exclusives and the Freaky Fusion line have hit shelves.

I have slowed way down on Monster High, but I like the Fusion Centaur and Mermaid.

I might have picked them up if Tru had them on sale and was not charging over msrp. But like most MH now, it will hit everywhere soon enough. Also see they have changed the box. Seems like it would be for getting them on the shelf even and not at an angle, but why not just make them square????

Saw the new Portal figures and they look nice. I am worried a little about how fragile they might be, but I will pick them up soon.

Also saw the Grimlock Kreo set for Gen 1 TF. It is a nice set and BIG too. I give them props for including the G1 minifig and his crown. Not sure why Galvatron, Prime , and BB, and movie versions, but whatever.

I'd totally pick that up for Kreon Grimlock alone.

I'm guessing the others are movie-ish to help tie the set into the AOE stuff. Although from what I can see in your pics, they look more like TF Prime than AOE.

Any mention of a bot mode for Kre-O Grimlock on the box? It'd be a shame if they Season 3'd him again.

My thoughts exactly those stupid Titan pieces of plastic crap are such a space clogger, as you can tell I have no love for those for some reason. Honestly any parents out there, have you thought about buying those for your kids? I wouldn't heck they can be used as a weapon to beat someone up!

Are those TFs hard plastic? They kind of look like nerf material...

Hard plastic, but hollow.

I saw those too and thought they were a little odd, especially Sharkticon Megatron (who never appeared in the series in that form).

Bad timing...? *shrug*

I don't think they're selling, but I also don't think they're dragging down the rest of the brand, either.

I just wonder why Walmart put these out well AFTER the series ended. My first time seeing them yet the shelf was packed.
On another note I left the 6 MP Grimmys and 3 each Cosmos and Swerves on the shelf.
Also the new TF mashers look cool but I didn't get them right now..waiting for the sale on those...

Saw the new Marvel Hero Mashers 2-packs. I really kinda like the Loki. $24.99 at TRU. But as always I will wait until a sale happens to grab any.

Also saw the regular and deluxe of the Transformers Hero Mashers as well. I really like the Megatron and Prime just for the fun of it. Props for including the Axe for Prime and Mace for Megs.

My guess would be they had them in the back and waited until the street date for the AOE stuff to put them out. The new movie might as potential add-on sales.

That's what I was thinking too. Of course, if they put out a Soundwave Masher, I will be powerless to resist.

On a side note, I love the promo shot on the front of the packaging with Bumblebee's head on Prime's body. "Arise, Bumblemus Prime."

I've seen Venom once or twice, but I have yet to see Rulk or GR at retail around me.

I saw a Neca Diablo III lord of terror. It looked really cool especially for $25. Neca has really stepped up their game lately. It was hard to pass on.

Passed up the 14'' marvel legends sentinel for about $70, a couple of those 2 packs (Falcon and Cap, and Centurion and someone else) for only like 15.99 each
I think Marvel is trying to tell me something….
