If being under-articulated doesn't bother you and looking good is a big want then the recently released DC Collectibles Dark Knight Returns 30th anniversary two pack might be worth looking at. Those figures are the spitting image of what was in the comic panels but each figure only has like six moving joints (if even).

I saw some of the variant figs at TRU, but this was the first time I had run across them in Walmart (I have no interest in these, although my nephew had to come back later for Harley). This is an odd store as their entire action figure aisle gets ransacked every day with figures on the ground, by opening the next day the aisle is reassembled and sometimes cases of new figs pop up...only to disappear in a torrent of chaos with figures everywhere again by closing.
I only say this is "odd" because most Walmart's just leave the chaos and never touch it, not even to restock figs =P |

No pic, but I did stupidly pass on a Marvel Legends Spider-Gwen at Books-A-Million. Gonna rectify that asap!

Interseting... Those figures came all in a half pallet shipper to go in the main aisle of a store. I guess they did not have the floor space and decided to put them on an end cap display.

I'm one of the few Marvel fans and Legends collectors who couldn't care less about owning Deadpool, so I left this guy on the pegs for another collector to give him a good home.
![]() And, it looks like Toys R Us is re-stocking their exclusive 1st Order Snowtrooper Officers, because I hadn't seen any since I snagged mine months ago, but today, I spotted three of them on the pegs. ![]()

Ran into the SDCC Masterpiece Bumblebee today, but at 65 dollars for such a small figure...Masterpiece or not? Brutal.
![]() Went scouting for the new Marvel Legends for fellow Arkers here, and while I didn't find anything new, I did see some new 5" figures for the Guardians of the Galaxy that I had no clue were coming out, and were aimed at the younger crowd. ![]() ![]() ![]() An interesting thing to note, the Rocket Raccoon off of this wave of figures actually has MORE articulation than any of his Marvel Legends figures (this new Rocket can actually move his legs!) and costs WAY less than his counterpart. From the looks of it, the head on the new animated figure sits on a ball peg and it looks like it can be easily removed, leaving me wondering about the possibilities of a possible future custom project. They also had Starlord and Drax, but I figured I'd only take shots of the three most likely to fly off the shelves should these take off with collectors. The Groot (can be any size) and raccoon are defintely looking like they could be used for MU scale. Would have to see it in person. And the potted Groot is cool.

The Groot will probably stand about 7 inches tall when assembled, as his legs are removed at the knee joint in the package and need to be plugged in. The potted Groot could use some paint, but is pretty sweet. I'm considering picking up Gamora just for that sweet sword. Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 08-01-2016 at 11:43 PM.. |

I definitely wouldn't mind getting that potted Groot, and giving it a nice paint job.
Found the new Power Rangers figures at Target yesterday. Had no idea these even existed. I also kind of like how the are doing two different series, but are mixing them in one wave. Would have bought a White Ranger. ![]() ![]() Size comparison - ![]() Also found these Walking Dead....statue....things.... ![]() |

I saw them a week ago at Target. I believe they are part of the new mod set they are currently doing. Guess McFarlane felt going back to slightly poseable statues was a better move than doing figures. They look nice in person and would be good desk fodder, but make them of something better than TWD.

Bandai's intention is to release every ranger with this line. I bought all 5 rangers available in the first wave and they're pretty fantastic figures. They're releasing the In Space rangers in the next two waves, which are automatic buys for me as that is my favorite season.

I should have taken a pic last night but I saw those 12 inch DC figures I believe? Of Deadshot and Harley, they actually look pretty good that size.
