This is the new one that opened just before Christmas. Doesn't get a ton of traffic so it stays nice in there. Gotten a lot of good stuff there but they got bucket loads of certain things that aren't going anywhere. I counted 31 of the Big Falon in the Vintage packaging when I was in there the other day.

I know, but I never got around to getting it when they were out. These sets reminded me POTC sets exist.

Am I the only on who thinks these look terrible, at least the Joker looks like crap. Freeze looks ok, but none will be better than the Animated series Mr. Freeze.

No, I think they look like crap, too. The Joker is not a Rambo-type character. It's never been his style, so that toy looks like someone else trying to cosplay the Clown Prince of Crime.

That Joker makes me think of the version from The Batman cartoon that got his dreads shaved off. That Freeze looks interesting but this whole lines just makes me say WTF and I've passed on the whole line because I don't know where they'd fit in my collection.

They'd have been better off making him as a Joker henchman type figure or something. That said, if you could find a few of 'em and add some individual touches, they'd make for some cool Jokerz for your Batman Beyond to fight.

Yup those WCA packs are shelf warming and it's crazy that TRU jacked up the prices on those for 30! But awesome that you have the new legends figures. Never saw past wave 2 here!

Yeah, and what you can't see in the pic is that they also had Red She Hulk, Hyperion, Protector and Archangel as well. Which would have been totally amazing if I actually collected that scale any more (or had the funds to mule them for someone else).

And yes, $30 for the WCA 3-pack is too much (even though 3 single-packed MU figures would run you about $30 + tax). I'm hoping to catch it for $15-20 at some point like the GotG sets were last year.

They had Archangel:P Dang I would have grabbed him up if I saw him, funny thing is I bought Wolvy even though I know he's the same mold as the SDCC one which I have as well as Red She-Hulk. Although I might return her. I should have grabbed some of the ones that were on sale at Target last week...

Man, that sucks.

I hope when I finally see them at retail, I'll have the funds on me to scoop them up right away.

God, I'd have taken Archangel. What store chain was this that stocks 6 pegs of Marvel Legends? My local TRU stopped carrying it all together.

Believe it or not, but that was at a TRU. They had just recently moved to the other end of the shopping center (literally) to a larger space. They are now a TRU/BRU combo store.

I wonder if this is why the good figures aren't hitting like they should, i.e. MU, ML and TF's to make room for this stuff.
