There are companies that make custom arcade cabinets that have hundreds of classic games built into them. For 2K those would be a better investment. Not sure what TJ Maxx is thinking. Discount stores target poor people but then sometimes bring in insanely priced items.

Yeah it seem too much for something you'd find at a TJ Maxx.

I've seen (and bought) the Star Fox WoN figures, but I never saw Metroid or Ganondorf. Ended up buying Ganondorf on TRU online, but Metroid has never gone back in stock for me.

I haven't done much hunting lately, but I stopped by a nearby Wal-Mart to survey the post-Black Friday carnage, and just happened to spot this box of 6" Black Series Battlefront Shock Troopers at the bottom of a pallet of freight. It was the first time I've seen these in my area.

Also, after all of the controversy surrounding the end of any "slave Leia" merch being released, I was tempted to grab this set when I spotted it a couple weeks ago, but decided to pass.

saw all these at a local TrU!! has anyone seen that anki set before? reminds me of slot car racing from way back when, when i was a kid, but after i read up on the box...it has no slots! O.o I remember this same TrU back in the 90s had a huge glassed in display case on one of the aisles that had nothing but single slot cars in it! always cool to look at, even i didnt have a slot car racing set heh

The MovieStop (now owned by Hastings) in my area has these, and I'm really tempted to pick up the box with J. Scott Campbell's Spidey and MJ art.
The Alex Ross Secret Wars box looks great, but I have't enjoyed Secret Wars, and the Suicide Squad box looks amazing too, but I rarely read that comic, so those are passes for me.

I hope Hastings and their subsidiaries continue to release even more of these, because I need a change from the same boring cardboard comic boxes I've been using for years, lol.

I finally spotted these tiny Gentle Giant bobble heads at Walgreens today, including the Walgreens exclusive Deadpool.
They were REALLY tiny, and not up to GG's normally excellent standards.
I have some TOMY Marvel Gashapon figures (that I bought nearly a decade ago) that are similar to these, but they seem to be of a much higher quality than these, so I passed.

So I haven't heard about these being out yet (maybe it's because I've temporarily sworn off the Star Wars thread) but I found some of the new 6" figures at my HEB (local grocery store) earlier tonight. I actually did end up grabbing the TIE pilot but that was after I took this picture.

Yeah, those have been sporadically hitting TRU and I think Walmart for a couple of weeks now.

Yeah I saw a ton of those today too. Also saw wave 2 of Mezco's MKX figures. They looked so awesome and I almost grabbed a Kitana but I decided to wait.
