It broke my heart when Harmony Gold recently renewed their Robotech license for the foreseeable future. It's too bad Tatsunoko has no vision and doesn't realize how big Robotech could be in the states... they just probably want to keep collecting their money with the least amount of complications... so they just keep dealing with Harmony Gold instead of looking for a better deal and risking the wrath of Big West. I think the original license was gonna expire in 2021... just think of all the new Robotech stuff we could have had next year in the US.

I grew up as a kid in the 80’s in the US with Robotech but once I discovered Macross my interests went there. A lot of people have similar stories. My favorite character is still Max Jenius and I hope that someday all Macross toys can officially be sold in US stores.

Roy was my fave...until they offed him ( to this day i say it shoulda been rick hunter.....gawds he was annoying ) then it became max.

And yah...it would be nice to see all the awesome macross goodness in stores instead of on greedbay as imports that cost a house payment to get.

The Valkyries shown in the first post are Bandai Hi-Metal and Hi-Metal R VF-1s and they are around 1/100 scale. All of the others are Bandai DX VF-1s that are 1/48 scale.
