Saw one for 50.00

Can anybody explain why he's worth so much? I'd like to sell my collection in the near future but I don't think i'd sell mine for that much. Seems like a rip off

isnt it all because the original toy(i.e '80s) was produced in such low numbers? why is the 90s one so rare?

I remember a 1998 price guide I had saying the POTF greenstripe version was worth $1000. I'm guessing that after the action figure market crash, it became common. I've seen it in thrift stores and liquidation shops.
