For some reason when the OG version came out from McFarlane, Entertainment Earth canceled my pre-order (the first, but would not be the last time) citing that the manufacturer had ceased production. Of course by the time they did this I was SOL for pre-ordering anywhere else. Honestly still don’t know if this was a problem for everyone or just EE, as I don’t see even much of a secondary market for it. Welll price tag is a bit much but this Medicom version is superior…. Maybe it’ll cone to kappahobby for slightly cheaper?

It’s about time. Finally. I got Bane, but passed Batman. They gotta make Troika or 1989 Batman, then I’m in!

That’s cool, but I’m happy with my Storm Collectibles Injustice Bane, that figure is totally badass.

These look fucking terrible. Anatomy is god awful. Those terrible beach ball shoulders on bane. These are definitely sculpted like toys and priced like statues. Garbage with a pretty paint job.

I put both Batman and Bane on Preoder. I want to complete my Mafex Knightfall line. I already have Azbat, as you can see from the profile picture, i am really into Knightfall.
I hope Mafex make a Nightwing and Robin as well. And Alfred and Bruce Wayne on wheelchair !!! Would that be too deep cut though ???? I would like to pose my Alfred as pushing Bruce on Wheelchair. That would be awesome.

As for McFarlane's Bane, I pre-ordered him at BBTS and he showed up last August no problem. I think that figure's general scarcity was more a reflection of supply and demand, collectors hadn't gotten a regular comic Bane in over a decade so it was pretty quick to go. As for this Bane, I do think they should've included the alternate parts to allow for his post-venom look. An extra arm and a couple more heads doesn't seem like it'd be asking too much from them given all this figure comes with are an alternate head and hands. Still I'll keep an eye on this one.

It's just to reflect Kelley Jones' artwork on a lot of the covers at the time.

That long eared batman head in black would make for a good Wrightson-style Batman from The Cult.
