Homecoming Spiderman Mafex vs Figuarts was really neck and neck based on preference, but Mafex definitely won this time for me

This wins by default because its accurate whereas the other ones, even Marvel Legends got the texture all wrong.

What's with Mafex and not getting US licenses? Their latest Batman figures don't seem to be on Amazon and none of their Spider-Mans have been and they're already around the $80 mark they need to be to bypass Hasbro. I feel like they're really trying b/c they're making better figures now but then not really trying if you're not distributing anywhere else but Japan.

Immediately pre-ordered. I never noticed the Superior Spider-man design references until this figure too. I think this is everything I've been waiting for since the suit debutted at the end of Homecoming. Mafex is a little tall for how I want my MCU Peter but I'll make an exception. Glad someone got the legs how I wanted.

When SHF iron spider released I was wondering ‘so where’s my copy’ and then remembered I’d decided not to preorder because I was holding out for a Mafex version. Hope had faded and I was browsing eBay in disgust at how much money i’d have to spend if no Chinese KO ever came out and then this guy pops up on my insta-feed. He’s still a bit pricey but at least I know he’s gonna be worth it as opposed to the SHF infinity war figures which all look pretty underwhelming- except for falcon who’s actually pretty cool. Thanos is almost there; just needs some extra paint apps to de-plasticify his textures.
If Mafex would bring out a first appearance Winter Soldier I’d have him and Mafex John Wick caught in an eternal gun-fu battle on the shelf.

See, Bandai? METALLIC RED. I don't care if the joints on Bandai are superior or not, to me it's all about the paint and attention to detail, not going to pay almost $90 for a half-ass'd figure.
