I will honestly never understand the appeal of an articulated, non-combat sports action figure.

Huh? So you can pose them and do whatever you want with them...like every single other action figure out there? What does a combat sports athlete have over a basketball player or a baseball player?

Personally, I'd need to see the entire teams represented because I'm a completionist; not really possible with basketball, baseball, football, hockey, etc. Combat sports are one-on-one for the most part, so it's easier for me to recreate the greatest moments.

Entire teams represented in order to collect? I can't tell if you are being serious. It's sounds like trolling.

I like the face sculpt on this better than the Jordan. Buuuut I want the Jordan and not really the Lebron....doh. I'm from LA, and a Laker fan, so it's weird.

Would rather have Kobe. OR SHAQ!!!! I bet they are waiting to release it later. Unrelated to his passing. Like for a big fig mid line kinda thing.

Well, I can assure you I'm not. You disagreeing with my preference doesn't make me a troll. Haha.

The likelihood this $100 toy line will comprise at least one entire team, from the one particular era, of which you like, or any of us like, is so unlikely. That would be more investment than Marvel and DC combined for a market that makes up only a tiny speck of the entire industry.
Collect a few along the way and it will open up the possibility for more.

I can't be only one buying here!!! hahaha the threads don't seem to have much interest in these. If I can get a Kobe or a Shaq, I'll be happy. Anything after is bonus!

I'm not a fan of the NBA, I'd love it if someone would make articulated MLB or NFL players. I collect 1/6 and I have no idea how no one out there has created a generic jersey template for each sport and just banged out every team's uniform.

I'm a hockey guy! XD Gretzky and those guys. Jonathan Quick! It would be so sweet to have a kings hockey goalie. Thats a toy! COME ON! Same goes for a football player. How is that not an amazing toy look???

After every other sport maybe they'd make hockey. Soccer would probably be before it because it would be easier to reuse the MLB players.

It would be great to have some jerseys stamped out for the Jordan Mafex without having to buy a new figure every time. Somebody has to get on that. If there were enough of these figures on the market maybe it becomes viable.
