Yeah, I realize that, but I want that costume in a younger version. I REALLY like the suit, but I'm tired of DKR figures. lol

I get what you mean but this is suppose tp be their own version of it since Mezco already did a Year one inspired Batman (Ascending Knight), then a more modern Batman being Sovereign Knight then this which is their version of The Dark Knight Returns.

So I see no point of making this figure look younger when we have already have figures of him looking young in this line even with them all having multiple color variants.

That's assuming I have one of the others. I do not. I had Sovereign Knight in blue preordered, but cancelled coz he looked too much like he's wearing PJs. This would look awesome, but I'm not spending $180 to make a custom batman.

I saw sovereign knight in person. Passed coz it didn’t look like a man in armor, he looked like a toddler in hero pajamas. Went with Justice League tactical Batman instead.

You might be able to Ebay a headcast of a Batman you like for considerably cheaper than buying a whole Mezco figure. The only thing with that is it'll most likely be unpainted.

You're referring to the regular version which looks completely different then the PX version.

You're just getting them confused. Also the Batman day Sovereign Knight looks similar to the PX just in a gloss black and haves the yellow oval and the 2 pack but it's an all black Matte suit.

I don't know what you mean by backwards ears? And this is the variant figure/exclusive figure.

Isn't it obvious? Look at the side view: the ears are pointed backward, like a dog or cat reacting to a bad odor. Once in a while, a new artist at DC will try to be 'progressive' by drawing Batman's ears that way, and it always looks jarringly weird to me. I grew up with artists like Neal Adams and Frank Miller: the ears are supposed to point up or slightly forward, and that's the rule 'cause I say so!

The longer ears are starting to grow on me as I look at these pictures more. But overall, I think these shots are a little underwhelming. However, I felt the same way about the standard release. Seeing the display shots from NYCC won me over and I would imagine that the same will happen with the PX version.

I think the "constipated" face is supposed to be a smile. Probably an homage to this shot from The Dark Knight Returns.

For the Ascending Knight and Sovereign Knight figures, there have been two exclusives and a standard release. Across all three versions, the standard release is the black and grey costume while the PX is the blue and grey costume. For the Ascending and Sovereign Knight figures, there were also Mezco Direct Exclusives where the whole suit was black with the exception of the belt. There's a high probability that Mezco will do the same for the Supreme Knight.

Just a reminder to everyone, Mezco put the Sovereign Knight Onyx Batman up for preorder on Cyber Monday last year. While nothing has been announced so, far they might do the same thing this year for the Supreme Knight or have another exclusive to sale.

It days "with Joker doll" which I assume is a mistake. A copy/paste from px Harley. There's also no mention of interchangeable capes like on the standard.

They do actually mention the cape in the written description of what he comes with, so I'm hoping that is accurate. I think the doll also.

I’ve already got this on pre-order. I also plan on picking up the inevitable all black version when it goes up just as I have done with the two previous releases in the series. I need to complete my collection. I love the look of this figure. I think it’s an excellent representation of Bruce in his latter years. With the completion of the Batman trilogy I would love to see Mezco revisit Superman and do something similar with him.

It's crazy how many Batmans they've done in the last 2 years and didn't do one Superman in that time.
