Spider-Man Far From Home Marvel Legends Wave 1 In-Hand Pics!

Mysterio is the winner for me. Hopefully they do up a super special extra paint and Jake head etc etc version, I'd be in for that. Scorpion is also sharp, if there was a black wash on him to fill in the cut lines he'd be perfect.

It's everything I was hoping for, Tony. Awesome work...you keep one-upping yourself, good sir. Tell me...what did you use for the fog effects?

I'm a big fan of the Mysterio and Spider-Woman from this wave...they both look just as good in-hand.

Mysterio in this line is hands down the big winner. They put all the $$$ into developing it. Detail and paintwork rival Figuarts.

Really my only complaint with Mysterio is the lack of “spells” or fog. I’d gladly give up on build a figures in exchange for more accessories.

Would have liked an unmasked head at least if not some green blast effects for him instead of the Molten Man, but then he needs those effects to fight the Molten Man like in the movie so I guess there's no winning.

Fog - vape from a mod based ecig and a green filter on the surrounding lights. And about 200 takes per each winner

This is a nice looking wave. Mysterio is amazing! All three Spider-man figures look pretty cool. I like all the double joints. Scorpion looks good. If Spider-woman had double joints on her elbows she would be close to perfect. Hydro-man is ok but I would pass on him. Molten-man looks like a walking lump of shit! I get that he’s supposed to look like the character from the movie but, I think he’s fugly.

The spider-man worth getting? Doesn't have any BAF parts. Anything unique about this one? besides the lack of paint...

There are better. If you really like the movie, I supposed it's worth it. Just seems a lot of $$ for a minimal figure. Might as well buy the $9 kid toy at Wally World. Personally, I'd wait for something with webbing and accessories. Not to mention a decent paint job. Figuarts, MAFEX, or Mezco would be worth it. You'd get webs at the very least and probably magnetic hands, or different eye configurations.

Mysterio, now that is the business! Definitely snag one of those! When I reviewed the wave, I was really impressed with Mysterio. I'll probably buy him soon, but I have too many things on preorder.

Of course now that I’ve opened mine, Hasbro will undoubtedly release an upgraded Mysterio with energy effects & an unhelmeted head in a two-pack.

Well, it's probably the best mass-market MCU Spider-Man currently in terms of quality. I feel like painted webs would go a long way in terms of accuracy, as the proportions would oddly look much better with painted webs. Finally, he'd also look better with the "texture" that the previous MCU Spider-Men figures had as well as a pair of regular/wall crawling hands. Still, (I don't have him yet) he's not bad by any means.
