No doubt, Star Wars fans on the Ark are all over this, but it looks so awesome that it deserves its own thread, yes?

I love Star Wars and was devastated by the last two movies. With Jon Favreau at the helm, this is my last hope to save the franchise.

I wonder if we might see a live action depiction of Ahsoka...?

I am pretty excited about this too. I am hoping that it's more like Rogue One than.... well basically anything else Disney has done.

If there is even a hint of any agenda or nonsense as was in The Last Jedi, I'll dump it completely. But Jon Favraeu is helming, so there's a good chance that it will be fun.

The trailer was really good - the musical choices were very unique and fitting too!

Looks superb! So glad we’re getting a Black series of him. We better get Ashoka in this. Hopefully they somehow get Rosario Dawson as Askoka that’d be my one and only choice to play her. Haha

Interesting choice there Tim, lol

This series looks cool, but I wish it was about Boba Fett.

I'm excited for this, despite the best efforts of the Star Wars fandom to toxify everything it comes into contact with.

As much as I would love to see a live action Ahsoka I think I would prefer her to get her own miniseries rather than be another cameo role like she was in Rebels. But it's not like I would complain if she does appear in this, unless they do something moronic like kill her.

I just love the production value and the look of everything in that trailer. It makes me wonder how the Netflix live action Cowboy Bebop will look in contrast.

Looks very promising but I don't think I'm getting the Disney streaming service so my loss.

The only reason I'd consider the Disney streaming service is because the content on Netflix hasn't been so great in a long time now. Netflix is the only service I subscribe to.

Beyond that I do a lot of DVD waiting nowadays, which is ironic considering those are allegedly going the way of the dodo.

The only thing Netflix has going for it anymore is Stranger Things. Disney Plus is looking to get all the cool shit, so I'm going to be ditching Netflix for it surely.

^ I like Mindhunters from Netflix... it is really dark and has lots of talking... its about serial killers and the director of Seven and Zodiac is producing it I think.

I think that show is alright, but not on the level of Seven and certainly not Zodiac.

Zodiac is one of the best thrillers I’ve ever seen, Only thing that’s ruined Se7en for me is the whole “what’s in the box scene” haha. It’s so over the top

Two episodes in, and I'm very impressed. Do they have any upcoming plans for more Star Wars spin-offs on Disney+??

Aside from the Obi-Wan tv series nothing else announced but they strongly implied there would be more in a stockholder update or some such thing

My wife wanted to watch this. It’s ok. Tad boring for me. My wife LOVES and wants “The Child” character... knowing Starwars and Disney, it’ll only be a matter of time.

There is a Cassian Andor show also in development with Diego Luna reprising the role.

This show is great... the Jawa episode was hilarious IMO and plus... you know who... the little dude... so cute. Seriously, whenever I see toy pics of the Mandalorian now I always feel like something is missing without him/her also being in the pic.

Not feeling that to be honest, or that Ahsoka is even in the show.
