I wish that they were just all individually available but at least they're not forcing you to buy it with the big Accessory Thing this time (like the diorama pieces of the Batman '66 and Superman sets)

I'm kinda liking this. What amounts to $20 each seems a bit much for 5PoA figs, but the alternate heads and limbs are a welcome sight in this format.

Seems like impressive without the big cardboard set. Though that 1966 was $140 and had 3 more figures.

Looks nice - might have to pick this set up!
Interestingly looking at old convention videos when these were first shown off Two-Face was also there so wonder if he's been cut or a 2nd set is planned (if so I would wager that Harley would also be included) |

I don't agree with the price per figure, but what else is new. I will likely get these to support BTAS and figures that aren't covered with the stupid cell shading. It just sucks that the figures are the same price or slightly less than the larger 6" reissues at Target.

Maybe forgotten amongst long time collectors (having collected toys for 35+ years myself) is how important a line like this can be to introduce new collectors to what we grew up with. These hit high on the nostalgia meter, and really the beauty of the line is not only in the simple design lines and vibrant colors, but the card and packaging design. These will hit hard with a select group of collectors who may want to have that feeling of purchasing these case fresh, even if the thrill of finding them on a peg at K-Mart, Target, Venture, WalMart, or Toys R Us is long gone. If I could go back in time 30 years or more, yeah, it would be a magical time as a toy enthusiast, to not only be able to purchase the items I had at the time, but to see them "in the wild." Or going back and seeing carded and boxed Mego Super Heroes, Micronauts, Shogun Warriors or Star Wars figures again....I'd hope I had the sense to take a few photographs.

Sad thing is this is probably all they'll make. I want a continuing line with more characters from the series in this style/scale.

Yeah certainly better than the ReActions which all look like they have rigor mortis and have like 2 accessories max at the same price.

In the old days we got Toyfair. They would announce all the figures that would be coming out over the course of the year. They may have had backing out pressure from DC/WB to produce and continue to produce additional figures year over year. Yes. This could be a one shot thing. But....If Mezco made an announcement that they were producing 4 or 5 waves of 6 to 10 figures, it would be a lot easier as a collector to say, yeah, I want each and every wave. Kind of like comic books. A great comic book with a writer and and artist will do a heck of a lot more with the product, and generally sell more copies over their tenure on the series than the one shot book. I just wish there was more of a commitment.

If I collected, this is a must buy.
This is a good effort, the price of the Batmobile is fine considering. Figures themselves are overpriced, but the uniquness doesn't make it tooo bad. |

Apparently Two Face was also shown at a convention awhile back, yet isn't part of this set. So did he get dropped, or is that an indication that more might be coming later on??

I'm down for more waves of carded figure sets for this line.

This is the scale I've always dreamed of but I want the articulation of the DC Collectibles figures. It sucks that the CAPED Crusaders can't cruise in their Batmobile with their capes on.
