I am not a Manglor purist or anything, but how are these Manglors, exactly.
This line could have been called anything.

Nothing shown here evokes the original line save for the color scheme.

Actually, the modular ability invokes the old toys without having to make them out of sticky foam or whatever that stuff was.
Package art looks great too...i was hoping they were going to use the old Ken Kelly art or something similar and it doesn't disappoint.

It looks like the initial run of 2 of the figures sold out. But I don’t expect this to be the only production run of those colorways.

Thank you. Man, I hope they bring it back. That's a crazy fast sell out. I've been hoping for action figures of Manglors for quite some time. I really never thought it would ever come back. I have to imagine most of the original figures have melted away over time. Wish I knew what I did with my original playset.

The first batch is likely a fairly small run. But John, the owner of Toyfinity, always seems to keep the in-demand kits in rotation.

I saw John post that he was surprised how fast Manglord sold out, and will most likely do another run.

Curious about them. I had the main guy from the old line. I liked him because he reminded me of 'Swamp Thing' at the time. I think the old Wes Craven film was on cable a lot around that time too.

Will agree, would prefer a larger size, 6 or 7 inch would capture that feel again. Like the idea of modular limbs as cleaner way to re-create the modular nature.

Kicking myself for not ordering the pink guy, but these glyos figures are getting expensive for what they are.

Seeing as the sentiment on this thread was mostly "Manglors?" I'm glad their first production run sold out.

I feel like I watched as the second run become available on IG. I snagged both versions. Loved the deco on the main figure and I owned Manglor Mountain as a kid which came with an unpainted figure. So I jumped on the new deco too. Not sure how far I'll get into the line but I'd definitely be interested in a new mountain with the cage and all. Probably jump on a Manglodemon too.

I'm hoping there will be unique sculpts for each of the original characters, and not just different colorways of the same basic Manglord body. If the latter is the case, I'll probably just be happy with Manglord from this initial run.
