I volunteer with kids and this definitely could send up some red flags with parents. My only advice would be to have direct communication with the parents and let them know your intentions, whats and whys. This may sound like too much of a big deal or making a mountain out of a molehill but trust me, do your due dilligence on this. As amazing as this site/forum is, a lot of "adults" don't understand our love of toys and may be quick to freak out.

Kudos to you, Shortysben, for thinking of helping this Arker out and for wanting to do the right thing.

guys I didnt mean to start an argument...just needed some opinions...I mean, who knows how old everyone is here on this site we trade with everyday...

I guess if you see or hear "free figs", it must be too good to be true...well its not

In my honest opinion, I'd say it's good for a one time thing. Since you got parent's consent, I think you're in the clear. Just don't make a habit of it, then it gets kinda weird. So send the kid whatever figures you wanna send, and leave it there.

Possibly send it to his parents (or a parent)? Let them see it first and make the judgement call. And if we're all sending this through Shortysben, if something weird makes it through the mail it's on him (you). Of course, that leaves you seeing what gets sent first and weeding out the questionable...

Seriously, my parents said it was fine.. It's really no issue. I'm not exactly a child. They don't care. It's just a nice gesture. You can do whatever you want guys, toys or no toys, I'm okay.
